So true. I remember buying a nice big set of ace king "dice" chips because they were the first chips I saw that had 3 colors in them. . They were so slippery that they were unusuable and I just threw them out. I didn't even feel right about donating them.

I have a set of dice chips but I won those at a Christmas party years ago.

But I will say I *almost* fell into that trap. I found Eclipse and Black Diamond chips for $80/500. The reason I didn't pick them up was because I saw the Eclipses in a video and they looked terrible. The BD'S are all glitz and no glamour because of Laser labels.

I realized that the cheapest chips I will use will be the China Clay chips anymore.
