I'm definitely behind the curve on this:

Tournament Set -- 900 ASM HHR
2nd Table -- 500 ASM CSQ (w/ labels)
Heads-Up -- ~ 160 OWPS Ceramics
Cash Set -- Temporarily +/- 1000 Condado Beach Chipcos (eventually to be replaced)

Well, you're ahead of me. All I have is are the Royal Yak Chipcos...a 1200 tourney set and a 600 cash set (no overlapping denoms with the tourney set). Next stop will likely be a hot stamped CPC set or a custom GOCC set, but we'll see. Nothing is happening until our dollar improves. At this point, I'm just here to live vicariously through others.

Yeah, but what if you wanted to build a temporary platform bed for a guest.. 24k chips could really come in handy

I'm not really collecting chips and neither am planning to, but I do have a few sets now.
My list is probably the most pathetic one around here by a good margin though

• 1600 Sun-Fly Mosaics semi-custom / Cash / Fit for 0.01/0.02 (you read that right, one cent/two cents) up to 0.50/1.00 and up to 20 players, with a lot of rebuys except for the upper end blinds
  
  
• 600 Claysmith Monaco Club / Cash / Fit for 0.25/0.50 up to 0.50/1.00 and up to 10 players, few rebuys
  
  
• 500 Scroll / Tournament / Fit for T10,000-T15,000 up to 20 players, no rebuys but partial color-up
  
• 1000 Scroll / Cash / Fit for 0.50/1.00 up to 20 players
  
  
• 300 China metal insert plastic w/holographic labels "Ultimate Poker Chip" / Tournament / Fit for T10,000 up to 18 players (awkward chip minmaxing!), no rebuys but partial color-up
  
• 1000 more of aforementioned plastics / Tournament / Fit for T10,000 up to 60 players (still minmaxing but less awkward), no rebuys but partial color-up
  
  
• 500 Dice chips rotting in some corner
  
  
• Target for this winter: around 2500 CPC full customs (certainly not with a shoestring budget design), if all goes as planned

Will likely get rid of the plastics, at least the 1000ct set, and possibly the Scroll cash set too. I'll keep the 500ct set for the occasional Sit'n'Go.
