Don't recall a thread like this, so let's hear some stories .. Anyone beat 6-high?

It's not quite the same thing but I lost a pot that was aipf KK vs 22 to a board runout of 4 spades. I had no spades. The naked 2s dragged the pot. "Deuce Plays!" IRL.

I won a hand with 22 making a flush to win a hand. Not against KK or AIPF, but it did require me to call on the river.

Correct me if I am incorrect but wouldn't 4 high be the statistically smallest hole card to win a hand?

Everyone that stays in has 2-3 and you have a 4 :)

This wouldn't work exactly, since the board would play. You need a board like AAKK2 where 33 loses to 44.

I think this is the lowest possible playable kickers in Holdem.

Quite a few years ago a very good regular at my game called down a new guys river bet with 10 high. The reg had bet pre flop flop and turn. Checks calls the river, he figured the new guy missed his straight draw and was right. It was a big pot.

The new guy was so pissed he thought the game was rigged and that the deck was marked or something. Needless to say he was never invited back again.
