Quick question for anyone that has one of the Barrington table style toppers. If you roll yours up to put away and back out to use and it is a little wavy at the end where you start the roll, how do you flatten it back out again? Heavy books? Very low heat iron with a towel to protect? I really hope this makes sense and isn't a dumb question...haha. Thanks in advance for any and all suggestions...

I've never had mine rolled up long enough to cause that issue but my thought would be maybe flip it over and roll it the other way for a bit. Or flip it over, pull it taut, and then put heavy books or something like that on it like what you mentioned.

Roll it up upside down so when you unroll it the edges are curled down.

Put the new topper to use at last Friday's game and it was a HUGE hit!

We rotate the deal, and just about every time it was someone's first time to deal there was inevitably some sort of comment to the effect of "the cards slide like they're on an air hockey table!". :ROFLMAO: I went from 3 year old speed cloth (the good stuff) to this and the cards just freakin' float across the surface! It really is astonishing.

My players were very impressed by the graphics and really dug the betting line. I even spilled a bit of ketchup from my hot dog on it and it literally just wiped right off. The sizing was also perfect, lined up right to the edge of the table all the way around.

While waiting on delivery of the topper, I was wondering how I was going to secure it to the table ... I didn't really want to put staples through it. So for this first game, I just laid it over the top with the rail holding it down to see how it would go (my rail just rests on the table, not attached in any way). I half expected the topper to slide around, or bunch up, or something. Nope, worked perfectly and didn't move all night.

Since I now know it doesn't need to be attached, I'm probably going to order at least a couple more so I can switch out the toppers for every game!
;)

Looks great! Love that shade of green. Thanks for the thoughtful review :)

I’m a little confused. Would this just go over a table or does it come with the foam and plywood underneath? Excuse my ignorance if this is a dumb question.

Dang. I love that topper!

rjdev7, these toppers look amazing. I need to make 2 more posts after this to be able to DM you so that I can place an order! Or do you have a website or something we can order from? Thanks in advance.

I don't - I just operate here. Shoot me a DM when you're ready to move forward.

OK, I think I've seen enough to know that I mustn't read the 1st post, and should simply post my question here.

How much for a diameter 48" topper? and postage to UK ?

It was going to be a very boring suited grey design with betline. But now that I've seen the top hat chip design a few pages back, I think I will be going for a greek or web mold design (whichever I choose for my chips.)

I bought a 48" round table today, and will be building a 54" rail for it.

48” round is $125 shipped

Very nice!

I have a design in mind. Do you have any tricks of how to create a circular repeating pattern in illustrator? I want a betline with rotary repeating pattern outside, and and a graphic inside.

I can do it myself manually in I guess 10 hours so that is probably the way, but I've got a very old version of illustrator. I imagine the latest versions supports macros or python inserts or something ??

@lolfdgb Mine has arrived! Had a little hiccup where I got a plain black mat the first time.

It's a little darker than I intended (the subtleties are actually picked up better on camera than in person), but that's on me, and overall I'm thrilled with it. May have to grab another to make a little brighter!

Edit: the wrinkles aren't a flaw- I measured a little large for full coverage and haven't cut it down yet
This is the way.

I see 4 or 5 colours there, could you give me the CMYK values please? (assuming that's what the supplier uses)
