The majestic chips sure looks nice. I am really considering getting it as my first clay set for playing.
I pulled the trigger and loved them so much, I pre-ordered the Royal's for a cash set.The majestic chips sure looks nice. I am really considering getting it as my first clay set for playing.

Thanks for mentioning. Very new to chip collecting and still has much knowledge to gain. But must say I am really enjoy my time in this forum.Technically, not "clay". But has its uses and proponents.
I did relabel the orange chips for my T5000 because I didn't care for the brown chip. I went through ABC Gifts and Awards for my relabels, Gene was extremely easy to work, I thought about getting blank Royals and selecting my chips for my cash set - but couldn't justify adding .30 cents to each chip.
Yeah, they can print and denomination you want - good luck!I am ordering a set am going to do the exact same thing for the brown chips actually. I am curious if ABC Gifts and Awards had mentioned if they were able to do an unique custom denomination? I am going to reach out to them because that would really help me solve a denomination issue I have with the Majestic standard denominations.

Curious why the random blind denoms? So you keep dimes in bank to cash people out?? Wouldn't 25¢ make everyone's life easier? 1 because there is actually a 25¢ chip, and 2 to make bankers Life a 100x easier. You can still buy in for $40 but I'd prefer $50. Just a thoughtWe have a long-standing (8yr) game that we play religiously once per week and have always had .20/.40 blinds and $40 initial buy in. I would really like a .20 denomination (or some multiple of that) so that we can have exact denominations. No one is very excited about changing the blinds.
I'm looking at buying some blank majestics in the near future, is this a chip that would be safe to use the mineral oil and water trick on?
I did with min and they look great.I'm looking at buying some blank majestics in the near future, is this a chip that would be safe to use the mineral oil and water trick on?
You CAN NOT submerge them in mineral oil/water though - the labels will fall off!! ** I learned the hard way, I submerged mine in a bowl for 30 sec to a minute to get 25 chips oiled real quick, ALL labels came off those chips. I used a micro fiber cloth and applied the mineral oil to the cloth - then wipe down each chip, they it soak in for a while, then buff off the rest of the oil. The chips colors pop after this process.Yes, these are “China clays” like Milano’s etc. I have not done so myself, but I would be hesitant to oil them before you sticker them. I would oil them after you sticker them.

That being said, I did this to half of my chips before my poker night, I simply ran out of time, so my 25 & 100 tournament chips did not get oiled. After the night was over, the oils from the players hands changed the colors drastically, I didn't expect this. Because of this, I will not be fishing the other 800 chips I still need to do - too much work! lol
Good luck!
Did you just provide a way to remove label faster?![]()
My experience as well, submerged oil/water.Weird, I was able to oil mine without any issues.

Well that is odd, I ordered mine just in April as well. All I used was a couple teaspoons of mineral oil with warm water and mixed large batches for 20-30 seconds. Dried them off...let sit for a few days and they were good to go.
Ok, I used A LOT more mineral oil, 50/50 - the oil probably released the labels.
Ahhh, that could be the culprit. I'm no expert on chip maintenance, though. The Majestics are my first rodeo.
We're thinking along the same lines!
My mistake was ordering way too many (good problem to have) and ordering before learning the value of having a separate cash and tourney set.
I think I'll relabel the lower denominations and make the $10 into a frac, and then use some royal blanks as higher tourney values. It's not perfect but would be an easy way to venture further down the chipping rabbit hole.
Also now when I need to get those labels off, I'll make sure to use that 50/50 mix.![]()
I just looked at Apache website, the pink blank chip is sold out! Might pull the trigger on the Pink labeled chips, soak them in oil! lol .01 cent difference, not gonna break the bank!
I suppose that is one way to work around an out of stock issue! My group is really just happy with anything, so I am lucky that I can wait. We've also moved to .25/.25 or .25/.50 and away from tournaments for the most part. I miss them, but with only one table it's for the best.
Luckily some high denom 43mm will still be cheap to accomplish, look great, and satisfy my hobby needs at the very least.
Well PM me if you decide you are interested! I've been slacking on posting the ad. By tommorow for sure.I might be
