Majestics label alignment with edge spots? (1 Viewer)

So being newer to the obsession-that-we-are-all-plagued-with I'm curious if what I just noticed this evening is normal (or even desirable?). I just bought a 1000 chip set of Majestics and realized that some of the labels are aligned with the triangular edge spots, and other labels are aligned with the line edge spots.

The picture above shows them separated out by what edge spot they're aligned with (top row is aligned with triangular edge spots, bottom row is aligned with line edge spots). The green, black, and yellow are almost half and half, and oddly enough, the purple chips are all aligned with the line edge spots.

The orange chips are currently unlabeled, as I'm going to take the $5K labels from brown chips and move them over... and I'm wondering if I should label them similarly.

I'm hoping you all tell me it's normal/desirable to have the labels not all lined up with the same edge spots so that my OCD is appeased...

I wouldn't let it get to me.
Be grateful they're lined up with anything at all. Lots of chips (casino Paulsons included) are consistently inconsistent.

That’s kind of what I wondered. If it was a common occurrence, sounds like it is.

I imagine it’s two different people. Each one has a different spot they use to make sure they are putting the label on centered.

You can always align it one way on one side of the chip and the other way on the other side. Then you can decide which side you want showing when stacking.
