Maryland Live! - Hanover, MD (2 Viewers)

It's really only annoying when every time you want to tip the cocktail waitress $1 you have to ask the dealer to chop a $2 chip (yes I'm a cocktail waitress tip nit).

I honestly think the reason they even have them in play is to encourage players to tip w them lol. No other reason I can logically explain. But like you I make the dealer chop it up lol. ;)

I live equidistant from both Live and the Horseshoe, and for all the negatives posted here, play exclusively at the Shoe. In my opinion, it's a far superior room. Lighting, games, food and drink, staffing, etc. Live is fine, and if I lived minutes away like some friends I'd play there, but with the option, for me it's a no brainer.

I do like the shoe, but find drink service to be kinda slow there.

I can't see myself ever using a 2 dollar chip in a game but I love the 8V goodness. I picked up a mint sample set a few months back because I loved the look of the 2 dollar chip.

Loose, although to be honest I haven't played it so much in the last year and a half, so I don't even know how often it runs anymore

I'm starting to be swayed over to the shoe... it's about 10 minutes farther for me, but I also like the lighting and food better. I think the 1/3 at the shoe is softer than the 1/ 2 at Live.
The drink service isn't any better or worse than Live. The food service at shoe can be almost non-existent in my experience
