I just went back and read auction rules, and it has to be based on timestamps, not the "x minutes ago" notation, since that doesn't take seconds into account. I'll let the mods clarify.

My timstamp is 6:58PM, which means the auction closes at 7:03PM.

@softchewy has a timestamp of 7:03, which means the auction was closed then.
