I just went back and read auction rules, and it has to be based on timestamps, not the "x minutes ago" notation, since that doesn't take seconds into account. I'll let the mods clarify.

My timstamp is 6:58PM, which means the auction closes at 7:03PM.

I've seen it happen 2 or 3 times and based on the final decision, the 9:58pm $905 bid will stand as the last eligible bid. After an hour, the "X minutes ago" switches to the "Today at X PM," which you can see now.
