It’s a very thick and textured laminate, almost as if they were going for a lenticular effect. Very funky, and I don’t recall another Paulson chip like this.

Posted these pre-maintenance in some other thread but decided to do the work on them in removing stamps, cleaning, and a little oil. They look exponentially better now. Would be a sick full casino set to have.
Admittedly biased, but it's the best house mold bar none.

Man, if those Holidays had a protective ring around the outside, they'd be in the running for #1, for sure.my fav house mold set. bold and sexy.
Without it, they're just another cool house mold to me. But great chips overall.

It's my first time seeing this lovely thread and dang, it's been cool reading about all the different sets!
I want to add my two cents as well. One of my favorite racks on the strip is the Mandalay Bay (up to $500). I know there's general sentiment against photographic inlays but I absolutely love the spot patterns and house mold. I often judge how a chipset looks by walking up to a craps table and checking them out in barrels and large amounts. There's also some nostalgia factor to them, as they're the first "real" chips I ever had. (Photos from chipguide)

The $10 is worth harvesting if available and inserting into the many house mold sets we see here on PCF, where we struggle to find $25s!
I’ve often seen a casino’s chip lineup referred to as its rack, here.
No idea if it’s an industry term or a PCF thing or a crazy person thing.
I love all the chips everyone shared but there's one line-up I think gets overlooked and it's my favorite among live chips.

IMO, that Sahara $1 is the best thing to come out of Vegas since the spotted flamingo.
Too bad they had to house mold it right up to the edge of the chip.

Their appeal is enhanced significantly with the use of color matched inlay art. MGM Reno did something similar.
