Speaking of the racks - I ordered some because a) I was curious to see what they're like and b) I potentially could use them since I have a modest collection of casino plaques and c) they were cheap. I got one of the jetons rack and two of the plaque racks (one small, one big).
My first impression is that they're very nice but have no good way to keep them from coming apart. The two pieces sort of snap together, but not really, and will easily separate whether you want them to or not. I'll probably wrap a rubber band around each pair which will look unsightly but should do the trick.
Thanks @Quicksilver-75 for ordering these and letting me buy them, but I can't say that I'd recommend them to anyone else. It just feels like there ought to be a better way to keep your plaques organized.
Alternately - you could think of them as holding plaques the same way that standard chip racks hold chips: not securely like a box, but just loose in stacks. They'd work just fine for that, and you'd get two for the price of one (since each "box" is a pair of "racks" - the top and bottom pieces seem to be identical). The only problem with that, then, is that they wouldn't stack neatly on top of each other the way that standard chip racks do.
I've never seen them or held them. At $2 each I didn't think they'd very substantial. If they were great, our community would have been raving about them years ago. I only heard about these a few months back when a member asked anout them. Bummer they couldnt be more but hopefully they work for some of those who chose to buy them.
