My first Poker Room (17 Viewers)

Thanks everyone for the kind words and compliments.

It was a blast to have all that attended and I appreciate some of the tokens and chips I've acquired from kind members here. I'll continue with more pr0n of a few more cool buttons and chips.

Super special thanks to @T_Chan for selling me the wonderful table to begin with. I had originally met with Tony to buy a custom table. After learning the great cost, I decided I would save up and he randomly offered a deal on this great beauty. So cool! Couldn't refuse. Best decision so far in my poker hosting career. A good table, in my opinion, is the best first thing required to host a game. Even with dice chips a great table can make a game go.

But..why not felt CPCs or Paulsons? Haha. What a blast! I have an even deeper appreciation for my Rounders set. BADASS chips I'd say! Love them. I even got comments from non-chippers:)

@realcdn you're a wicked guy man! I'm so lucky you joined and we came across. Now you may have done something bad by bringing over those AS chips though. THC goodness brother. Nice chips yourself...:tup:cant wait to have ya for another game.

@LotsOfChips thanks for taking all our money:ROFL: :ROFLMAO::ROFL: :ROFLMAO:it was great to have you as well. Pleasure to play with.

Can't wait to do it again. Keep an eye out in your email for future dates.:)

Huge shout-out to @Jeevansluck for hosting such an excellent home game tourney. The bubble (final four) lasted almost an hour, with huge swings in every direction. Earlier there was a four way all in preflop (sadly I lost that hand with JJ), a whack of full houses shown, and truly a great time had by all (well at least by me, everybody else seemed to be having fun too).

Looking forward to the next one, and thanks again for your hospitality! And @T_Chan, when I grow up I want a table just like that one!

Got a way better shelf for my chippies...with a few extra cubbies for a few new sets I've yet to pick up and/or receive!!

$20 off Craigslist...amazing what people will literally give away!

Same as how I bought them. I actually have purchased 6 more since. Some as Backups. A few are improvement chairs. I have a TChan table looming for delivery any day....So I need more and will continue to add

Had a great mail day today. I needed racks pretty bad. My situation was chips on the shelf in stacks. No racks or home , very sad for the chippies even if they were CCs. Still gotta love them!

I'm all racked and shelved! Thanks to @Sharpie26 and @liftapint for the great deals and mostly, the superior packaging that needs to happen to make these shipments trouble free. I say thanks again!

Beautiful room! Everything works so well together. The dead teddy bear in the corner if a good reminder to those inclined to cheat. :p
Thanks very much for the compliments man! Much appreciated. I am new to hosting and LOVING it!

Wife and I are still investigating the death of teddy bear as possibly a murder. We suspect a 3 year old monkey that has been seen frequenting and generally terrorizing our home. ;)

Well, I have been working hard to get to the stage to make this post. I was gonna start a new thread but why pollute. This is the evolution of the poker room of Jeevan!

Covid came along and took away my hosting abilities as the setup was too much for my wife and family to work with, after Covid. I had to give up all hosting activities.

Over the last year or so, I’ve wanted to sort of start hosting games again, but it’s hard to find players with so many choices and good games to play at. So I went back to my lab and decided to purpose my 2 bedroom suite, into a Multi table poker room.

I’m proud to say, this Saturday Nov 16, I’m hosting the inaugural Cedar Ridge Poker NLHE tourney. It’s been 3 years since I last hosted, and I’m beyond excited. I’m PUMPED! The whole thing drew me back to PCF and it’s been the driving force behind chipping up a bit but I was always ready to run, never sold em all! Kept my original TChan rental I first bought. Can’t believe it was a rental and the price I won’t even disclose. I retrofitted it with Gorilla legs and it’s fantastic!

I also finally relocated the beast of a TChan custom table I got, and I’m now ready to run 2 table games, and I can easily expand to 3 if demand comes around. It’s my dream. Hot dog roller is next for SURE! I’m on the case!!!!

Here is the new space. It will receive some new paint next year, it’s a bit yellowy, but I’ll replace with some light grey tones. Will see…

The fridge game has jumped considerably. Not just in size but now contains beer ha

The important question. What chips will be in play?
Looks like I may have to felt the CPC Rounders. I had not anticipated filling up a table this weekend, but it’s full.

So switching gears from cash to tourney.

I no longer own any Paulson chips that could work for a tournament, so that is why I kept my CPCs. I’m looking forward to the custom Rounders I’ve ordered, hoping to see them March/April or whenever they get around to the CSQ run for 25.

Beautiful setup @Jeevansluck. I'm going to have to fly out to visit you one day to play :D
Han!!!!!! I have been meaning to message ya! I will do so tonight. You have an open invitation and I need to get put east as well, and slap hands with ya, and play some cards! I hope and trust all is well with you and the family!
That looks great man.
You will receive steady stream of invites starting in January bro. Of course, you are also automatically invited to my game on the 16th (this Saturday @ 5PM). If I can get a few more players, can kick it up to 2 tables. I know it’s pretty short notice man
Nice set up my friend. I’m looking forward to coming out to play!
Was a pleasure to meet and play last night my friend. You will also receive a steady stream of invites, Jim! It would be a privilege to have ya!

Awesome upgrades, and it's always nice to get back in the saddle! Love that this thread has been going for years.
