THIS IS NOT A WTS AD YET, that's why it's not in the Marketplace.

I feel so blue right now and my heart is heavy. I am contemplating of selling my PCA's. Our games have dried
up almost completely. I soon will have my cash set and IF I sell them PCA's, I will still have Grand Cardrooms
and GCOP's left.

Chips need to be played with. Chips need to be fondled. Since these don't see the felt nearly at all nowadays,
it might be time to let them go.

I am so on edge with this, whether this is the right decision or not. I will have my next poker night on November
14th. I will get these into play, maybe the last time. I will make my decision after that, depending the feel I get.

IF I decide to sell them, they will not leave cheaply from Pugland, since I love them so much.

I decided to put this thread in the open, since I can't recall anymore, if I have given dibs to anyone on these.
If I have, let me know. I recall I might have discussed with @BPTDirector about these, can't remember for sure.

The breakdown is:
300 x $5 secondaries
300 x $25 secondaries
300 x $100 secondaries
100 x $500 half primaries/half secondaries
The chips have been played maybe 10 STT's, they're not mint, but certainly uncirculated, with no nicks.

Let's see what happens....I really don't know yet.

Don't do it! One, two, five years from now you may find yourself with a lively game of regulars, and wish to have them back. If you desperately need the money, that's one thing, but if you're only selling because they're not getting any play, don't do it.

Pretty sure I have dibs on all 1000 chipes. :p:LOL: :p:LOL: :p

Don't do it, Pasi. The PCA's are gorgeous money in the bank that you can't spend. And once gone, well, you know.....

Just keep 'em, and break 'em out every so often for a scrooge mcduck splash.

As much as I'd like to buy a rack of those $100 chips from you, I have to agree with Gear on this one. Unless you need the money, I would hold on to them even if you're not using them at the moment. I almost sold off my PCA set (and others) 2-1/2 years ago when we moved and I stopped hosting games. I still haven't gotten back to hosting, but I'm glad I didn't sell everything off just because they weren't getting used.

I've had sellers remorse at least 15 times. Hold onto to them just in case. As stated. if a game doesn't pop up. Get them out and take some money shots with them.............errrrr, of them.

Thanks guys. You're awesome. We'll just have to see how it goes. That one game with them might change all
and stop this nonsense in my head.

Those $500s are totally amazing. Love these chips.

PLEASE don't do it Pasi. Keep them. That's a totally amazing set.

Pasi Noooooo! I sold most of my mint hundreds and all of my 500s and I could kick myself in the ass. I think PCA's are hands down the nicest casino set out there.
When I got these out my group actually got giddy and they really are not into chips. They are so heavy and perfect that even non chip nerds appreciated them.
You will build a consistent game again. Now that poker is not as much the 'in' thing you will find people who truly love the game and the experience of playing with the best equipment.

Pasi - our deal is for GCOP chips should they ever become available. I hold no dibs on the PCA chips. Thanks for allowing me to step in if I was a lying douche, but I consider myself a pretty standup guy so have to be honest and watch this set fly away.

Good Luck with this very tough decision. Just make sure it's the right choice for you. Make sure you will have no regrets before selling or the sale will haunt you.

Best;
Jim

Thank you everyone, once again, for your words and thoughts. I sure hope they'll guide me to the right direction.
@Jim. Yepp I recall our deal for GCOP's, if I dump them. I just remembered wrong about PCA's. And thanks.

Don't sell those chips. Putting that set back together will be impossible and/or cost a fortune. You will miss those minty th&c chips.

Unless you want/need the money for something else better.

Don't do it, Puggy. I've had to sell a couple sets I regret. The permanent psychological damage isn't worth it... although my friends would say they see no difference in me. [emoji12]

If you decide to sell I might be interested in the 5's and some of the 25's depending on final pricing.

I am in the minority, but I would sell them. Although a beautiful set and hard to come by, if you are not using them, and you have no personal link to that casino (like worked there or got married there), why hang on to them. Down the road, you may want a set and there are tons of great sets out there....you may want something different by then.

Pasi,

Don't sell. Just don't.

If you need to see them getting some use, I will pay for shipping both ways (and VAT) and will use them once a year in what ever league game you want me to. ;)

Mike

I agree with others, don't sell, but I can hold them for you, keep them safe. Let me know

Pug's palms are sweaty, knees weak, heart is heavy.
There's drool on the forums already: paypal accounts ready.
They're nervous, but on the surface they tell Pug to hold steady,
and not drop the PCAs but inside heads are bobbing already,
knowing it's a blowout these days quantity sales don't abound.
They still advise caution, but they can hardly hold it now.
PMs coming into Pug to reserve their count,
but it's over cause Pug's regained his senses now.

Don't sell Puggy! I've sold chips in the past and the regret is always terrible afterwards.

You know how at the table, you have the correct odds, yet you feel that nagging gut feeling something's amiss? Go with your gut ;)

Sums it up pretty much. Trying not to lose myself. Thanks Jack ;)
