My heart is heavy / Contemplating of selling my PCA's (3 Viewers)

There is a cure for your heavy heart:

DON'T SELL YOUR CHIPES!!!

However, if you do decide to sell, I'm thinking about getting a cash set. I'll also happily get in line to put them into play for you on a temporary basis. ;)

I too hope you keep them, Pug, but if you decide you need to sell, I'd like to be in the running for a rack of secondary hundos and one or two barrels of secondary (green spot) 500s -- they'd fill out a set of 1500 or so.

Would also consider the whole set, if necessary.

Take your time, and make the right decision for yourself.

I understand you...
My game is almost dead ...
my boys, remembering how fun it was always told to come again ... and each time it is delayed for a month ...
I have the impression that my children grow up soon, and I'll play with them ..

but I decided not to sell ...
I have one set that did not see the game for a year .... and the other, who was not involved in any..
if you do not need the money right now, I would not ...
but also to become sad when you look at the pile of chips that are out of work ...
If my wife found out how much they cost ...

By the way, we do not have enough of these photos!

I love your continued support and advice. It is highly appreciated and will be strongly considered.

Selling the PCAs is a last resort in a financial crisis. Only consider this if your other option is to sell your kids. You will never get over it.

I had a nice set and sold it a few years ago in order to buy other chips. Pretty good reason, huh?, but even then I feel so sorry every time I see nice pictures such as yours.
This set is just awesome, keep it if money's not an issue.
Find new friends instead and here go the home games again ;)

Keep them. My game is almost dead and I'm still on the hunt every day planning a new set and I am not well off financially, at all. Thinking about a custom set shortly. Chips are not just for using to play poker. They're art. They're precious.

That said, if you're done with them, you're done with them. If your game dies off completely and you get to the point where you don't even get any joy out of removing them from their case and admiring them / touching, looking then perhaps it's time to sell to someone who will greatly appreciate them.

As everyone else has said, take your time to think about it, Pug :)

Those $500s are absolutely amazing, aren't they. Yikes. I'd have a hard time explaining to my dentist why I tried to eat one and broke a tooth.

Pug my friend I have an idea. Send them to me then if you really don't want to get rid of them I'll send them back (after swimming in them like Scrooge) No need to thank me.

I haven't even SHIPPED mine yet, and I regret selling them. I had to get half-drunk just to pack them in chip boxes without getting emotional. Dead serious. Don't sell them unless you have to.

@brains613: But you have dibs to buy them back. Hopefully that will assuage your feelings of regret. Until that time comes, they'll ;have a good home. :)

I'm just shuffling those $25's and they really feel so heavy and, hmmm, sturdy compared to my other chips.
Only shuffling for short period of time each stack, so that they stay uncirculated. They feel.....good.

Have to repost this (thanks tommythecat, this has always been one for my favorites ani's)

The more the merrier :)

I know. I'll have to figure out later how to get him to break it up and sell me a set. Sometime next summer I'll be out of the woods...

(Here's where I acknowledge the contradiction to my earlier post. Give me a break. I'm grieving here!)

If that'll be the case, will do if there are no dibs for the entire lot in earlier posts (can't recall and too tired to check now).
Thanks Josh.
