My Journey As A Professional Poker Player (22 Viewers)

Next hand maniac raises blind on my immediate left, there's a reraise by UTG, I call with :kc::ks::2s::2h: and the maniac reraises to about 150, other player cold calls, I call

Flop :8h::5s::3d:

Check to maniac who pots, other guy folds. I did deep and make the call. He just has T982 and we hold to bust him

Chipes are flying fast and furious!

The maniac on my left was saying how he doesn't come to the casino to win 2k and talking about playing bigger stakes

So he was blind raising and betting a lot. I just had to put my big boy pants on and ride the variance train

He busted a few times and left to play nlhe

Little setback. Active shorty raises the button we almost repot our KK82 one suit since the BB and UTG are tight, but we just call from the SB

Flop J66 and we checkraise tge button who only goes once

Turn 6
River J

We turn over our house expecting to win, but he has AAJ6 lol

So his 6's full of Aces beats me, his Jacks full of 6's beats me AND his quad 6's as well

Fortunately he only had $260 so it's not a huge hit

Ugh, tried 3 barrel bluffing with the naked Ace but guy had J8 suited, King of suit hit river and he called my 450 river bet :(

Sigh. We have :ad::kd::6d::5c: and pot for 30 on a :as::6h:

two callers, turn :8d:

2nd caller leads for 130, now we're stuck with too many outs

We call, river :9s:

He pots all-in and we fold :(

We limp repot AAQ7 one suit against a short stack, but should've reraised smaller so when he shoves it reopens betting and we can push out 3rd guy, instead he calls 160

Flop KK7, we check

Turn 8, we both check

River 8

He bets small, 100 into a dry sidepot. I figure he either slowplayed a King or he has a middle pair and puts me on Aces, figuring he can push me off the best hand and likely beat the tilted short stack

I crying call, he announces trips, so I expect to be shown a King. Instead this fucking nitwit who called 25 and then 160 pre shows :8s::6s::5d::2h:

Someone was like "oh, you should've potted the flop"

Lol, for what? If I pot the flop I only get called when beat

If he has a pocket pair he only has 2 outs to beat me Aces. If he has the hand he had, he needs runner runner perfect to beat nut two pair

There's no value in potting the paired flop

We get it in against three shorter stacks on the flop, we have a set, one guy has a straight, two guys have flush and straight draws

Guy with made straight only runs once and holds, we lose $1200 in the hand

We are the rock and see a free flop with :qc::9s::8s::5h:

Flop is :qs::9h::2s:

BB bets 100, UTG calls, we are next and pot, they both call

Turn :5d:

Checked to me, I pot for 1800, one caller, other guy all-in for 1200

River :3h:

I am good on 1200 side pot, but guy who was shorter has A24x with the nfd on flop and runner-runners the wheel to scoop

Ugh, next hand I have :as::th::5s::5d: on the button and the rock, call a raise to 100 by CO

Flop :kh::qs::5c:

He bets 300, we call

Turn :kd:

He checks, we check

River :jh:

He bets 500. I announce "I feel like I am being milked" but make the crying call

He has KQT9 and I'm glad I didn't raise the flop cause he was never folding

@Poker Zombie no need to be sad. I win the set vs straight hand or don't have the guy runner-runner the straight when I flopped top two pair + flush draw and I win 5-10k

Plus if I went nuts with bottom set plus gutshot broadway draw on the KQ5 board I likely get stacked by the KQT9 guy instead of only paying off $500 on the river

There were a number of pots that could've swung my fortunes way up or down. A loss of $900 in 10/10/25 when guys were regularly straddling isn't bad at all :)

Lol, we call a raise from aggro player on first hand (he is button, we are sb)

We have :kh::9d::8h::6d:

Multiway to a Flop :9h::6h::2d:

We pot for 80, aggro calls. Turn :tc:

We both check

River :td:

We both check. He has AAK9 without flush blockers, and was a massive dog on the flop, made a terrible call and gets rewarded

There is a straddle to 20 and a reraise to 105 pre, both are maniacs. I am 1800 effective, reraiser has about 900 and straddler 2k

I have :jd::td::8c::7c: on the button

Three ways to a flop

:js::5d::3d:

Straddler leads 350, reraiser just calls, we shove, they both get it in

Shorty only runs it once on the main, other kid agrees to twice on the side

First board comes :7d::3c:
Second board :4c::6c:

The shorty had flashed the :ad: but doesn't have the flush. The straddler has 6542 without the fd

We win the main pot altogether and chop the side pot

Shouldn’t you scoop there with flush and 8 high straight?

We have :qd::jh::th::8d: multiway in a raised pot to a flop of :jd::9d::3h:

WAH-WAH-WEE-WAH!

Maniac bets 75, fish calls, other maniac who only runs once and bought in for 2500 makes it 175

I was gonna pot if he was out, since the other guys are shorter, but with him in I elect to call with position and see the turn

Turn :ks:

Checked to me, I pot for 785, fish all-in for less. Runs-it-once cold calls

I am praying for no pair or a diamond on the river, a :2c: would be perfect.

River :5h:

I can't even squeeze 400 out of the remaining player, who claims he had nfd and a set (but didn't show)
