My name is Jon, and I like poker chips (1 Viewer)

Welcome Jon. You admitted that you "like" Poker chips and that's a good start. Your actual level of interusest is better reflected by your presence here. But don't fret, we understand the journey you're on.

There was a time when all of us "liked" Poker chips.....

Welcome to the forum! I think I've watched almost all (if not all) your poker chip videos. Really enjoy the perspective on cheaper chips that you generally only ever see stock photos of and misleading descriptions.

Exactly this. I like John's focus on finding the value play vs just bling or something being high end just for the sake of being high end.

Been a fan of your videos since early Season 1 of the Great Poker Chip Adventure. Your videos have been great for helping my friends pick out nice workhorse chip sets. Welcome aboard!

Welcome! Was looking at vid about oiling chips. I did all my horseshoes. Very happy with the results. Amazing how hard it was to find mineral oil at Krogers, though. No one knew where to find it. Turns out it's in the laxitives section.

enjoy your videos @Hobbyphilic, you mentioned PCF was your sponsor which led me to this forum. Keep it up with the great videos & content.

Thanks. Glad that someone enjoys all the work I put into the videos. Welcome and I'm looking forward to seeing more of your chips. I just saw those awesome HS Caesar Tahoe chips and gave it a thumbs up.

Just a standard, found on Amazon, birdcage has been great for me. If you want to get into the technical aspects of birdcages... you're in the right place.

Any birdcage that holds 1000 chips with locks? I'm looking at getting one of the 1000 chips aluminum rollers, they look like they have locks on them....but I have a few sets that I prefer to haul in 1000 chip counts.

Not that I know of. One reason Pelican and other travel cases are so useful.

Welcome. I enjoy watching your videos. I find them very informative. I joining this forum because you mentioned it in your videos.

Welcome. Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoy chipping.

Jon your video on youtube are great. Was looking for my first set to start hosting a poker game and I have liked your info. Received 2 sample sets a Milano and Paulson Elite. Excited to join this forum and see what other sets I need to consider.

Both good sets, for the price. Best of luck and I look forward to seeing pictures of your setup.

I've been looking to make my first poker set purchase and I came across your videos. The videos are great and have helped to make my decision. I had (originally) narrowed my decision to either Dunes, Pharoah or (most likely) Majestics, depending on the samples that I ordered. Then after seeing and hearing about the Tiki Kings, I was torn. I'm looking to buy a cash game set and as much as I like the Tiki Kings, the key/best chips to me are the high denominations ($100+). Assuming I like the samples, I'm going to go with the Majestics and then eventually get a nice Tiki tournament set next to take advantage of those high denom chips.

Thanks again for your help!

Jon, can you stop doing card reviews please? I need money to feed my kids!
