Napkin math Tina vs BR PRO (1 Viewer)

FWIW here’s my breakdown of my Tina Greek mold hybrid order last year with direct air shipping to Montreal. It wasn’t complicated at all because Justin just has Tina airship directly to international buyers like me, so there was no reshipping logistics.View attachment 1450664

If you order directly from Tina it’s $0,35/Chip for Hybrid = $253,75 USD for 725 Chips and $138 Shipping to Canada.

(if you have your own design of course)

It sounds like you haven’t found the set you like and probably need to search a little long. I was also considering the Apache chip. The Royals or Majestic were in the running, but the dealbreaker for me with Apache was what they wanted to change for shipping. I was living in Ottawa at the time and had a US Box, and it didn’t matter where I ship the Apache chips. They wanted to charge a good amount of money. I found BR pro was more reasonable in their pricing.
For me shipping to Michigan with Apache is $38. Shipping from a Tina GB is $128. That's making the $38 a whole lot more reasonable LMAO

That's good to know. I figured a group buy would be cheaper but I guess not. If I'm not mistaken she's on Alibaba for direct orders right?

Do not concentrate on the money too much or you might settle for chips you don’t really love and you will start an endless cycle of selling and buying, losing a little cash each transaction. Find the chips you want, then make your budgetary decision. There are so many options available right now. Pinching Pennie’s don’t work if you’re not happy with the chips.

Ya for sure I feel that, made that mistake once and ended up with weird number of metal slugged poker knights LMAO.

I like the feel of BR ceramics but I have yet to see a set I like. Even scrolling through the forum. Maybe I haven't seen the right set. I haven't worked with a designer yet so who knows maybe I'll find something that suits me if I work with someone.

Idk what it is but I just like the look of a mold and label lol.

Definitely won't be making any purchases with the current exchange rates so I have time to think lol.

Yes, and the quality difference between BRPRO and tina no mold is clear. The Tina chips are playable; the BR Pros are nice - probably the best you can buy.
Not $300 better IMO

With that said I do think the BRPro are very nice chips but at the same cost as the Tina hybrids it makes for a tough choice.
