Tina vs BR Pro Ceramics (1 Viewer)

Please define "a lot of spinners." I hear a few people saying this when knocking the Tina chips. But there are a lot of us who own a LOT of Tina chips who don't think this is a problem at all. The number I've heard mentioned is less than 5 percent. Given how inexpensive these chips are, it's easy to just bump your order by a few chips per denomination and sort out any spinners if you are sensitive to that.

For my Bellagio tournament set (1,400 chips) just about every stack that I make out of each denomination had spinning issues. I'll see if I can take a quick video and upload it.

It was when I had my tournament set made late 2021, though they mentioned their inventory was low then and that I may not be able to add-on more in the future. No idea if they still have them as an option now.

I bought my Mirage tributes for the looks and price, and they are pretty good nee. A couple spinners but no buggy. They are just one set of 8 sets I own, and are cash chips whereas my buds like tourney better. I have 40 BRPro seating chips and they do seem a level up though.

Are they still offering chipco blanks? I thought casino only now... I have custom chipcos from BR Pro (ABC) and they are incredible, stack like bricks and just feel great.

I've now just ordered a cash set on the standard BR Pro blanks having handled a sample and even their own blanks are really nice.

I have never handled Tina chips, but I can definitely recommend BR Pro - service is fantastic too. Hope that helps.

On the topic of edge alignment, I actually prefer ceramics to intentionally NOT align the edge spots... oooh controversial!!

+1 vote for BRPro.

After shuffling 43mm BRPros and 43mm cards molds side-by-side, it’s no contest - BRPros are at least 2 tiers above cards molds IMO.

For the price, I don’t think you can beat them. I also have the Mirage cash tribute set that I think are great.

I actually disagree with most here. I have samples of the both card mold and no mold Tinas as well as the Dio De Los Muertes from BR and I think the no mold Tinas feel better than the BR. I did notice a few spinners in the Bellagio 43mm no mold samples, and I am hoping it is not the case with the 1600 chips I just ordered through group buy. The feel of the chips is superior though in my opinion. Closer to the textured finish of the ceramics I have used in casinos.
