New Casinos / New Chips Thread (6 Viewers)

Stopped by the latest casino to open in the Chicago area yesterday… Wind Creek. Seems like a really nice place. Small but nice poker room with 10 tables. See pics of room and chips…

IDK How I feel about those inlays but the colors/edgespots some of the best Casino ones I've seen in awhile

Those quarters! I'd love a rack (Or 3)

We have a Windcreek in Eastern PA in Bethlehem. They run a good operation and I always have fun. They swapped the poker room location many times over the years, but other than that poker there has been enjoyable.

Is Paulson/GPI now putting “GPI” on all its new chips? Surprised the casino would agree to that on their inlay.

Lived in Chicago for four years. I'd never heard of East Hazel Crest. I looked it up on a map. I don't think its fair to call that a Chicago casino.

That's 25 miles away. With Chicago traffic, that's 2 hours.

If you're actually averaging 12.5mph it's time to invest in a good bike

12.5 MPH isn't far from accurate, and actually pretty fast at certain times of the day. It's a big part of the reason that I left Chi-town, and turned down a great job offer to return.

We think they are paying for the build as they go. I think it has been like this for 3 years now.
Oh, i am sure it helps. I work in Marketing in a temporary casino and i see the business we do in our small space with 300 slots and 7 tables. Honestly pretty shocking. We will be 25 to 26 months old by the time our full casino opens in mid February.

Wouldn’t that be ‘not’ Chicago traffic then?

Absolutely HATE these chips………. They are plastic….with what appears to be a small magnet.

Fun casino……… the actual casino is being built…. The temporary casino is in container boxes right now.
These chips are the future, altough ugly. :( they are cheap and durable, with RFID technology

Just read Fountainebleau 3d https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/fontainebleau-las-vegas.110364/page-2#post-2333825
