Thank you!!!
Thank you!!!
Was not but that surely works
I drank a lot of that beer on my honeymoonI do hope there will be a NAGB at some point with a full backstory and some of the accoutrement.
With how crazy some folks are here, I know I'm not alone in loving all the extra stuff with chips/hosting (for me more than chips themselves) - from the cases made by alec, the painstaking background, yadda yadda. We do see that quite a bit with custom CPC sets, obviously because those are meaningful to the individual.
But I can't help but think it's not too hard to do that with things like RPC and Faro Dunes especially, Tigers, BTPS, etc. to a lessor degree (but still was plenty possible!).
On the next one, whoever does it, can we please get a NAGB from a faux casino in Hawaii with their local flauna and flora, can we get a Saint Lucian casino NAGB with the pitons on the design (shown below), oh man what about a NAGB titled "Leeward Islands" or "Windward Islands" or "British Guyana" and have them be from an old defunct gambling hall during the time Britain oversaw those Caribbean regions.
This isn't specific to the Faro Dunes, just seems crazy to go through all the other hoops, along with the hundreds of thousands of dollars spent, to not build in some story or at least a couple winks and nods into the chips.
NAGB submitters, don't only rely on old heads to put together a design. Grab someone to assist in the art of storytelling, to add some flavour to the mix and design!

Tasty as hell!I drank a lot of that beer on my honeymoon
I don't think I did, I just remember pounding BBC's poolside like it was going out of style (lol)Tasty as hell!
Dude! No clue if you remember, but did you by chance try Casava? It was super cheap, what I remember from it was it’s a plant/root vegetable or something, and they made it in huge steel cooking ware kinda like masa, into little cakes.
Extremely cheap, extraordinarily filling, weirdly fibrous - loved it.
Kinda neat in its own rightThat’s what I thought this listing was about just based on title. This chip specifically

Also Barrie: immediately references two different chips (issued 6 and 32 years ago) and then hypes up the idea of someone building a 14 rack limit set.I'm not necessarily a chipper … I'm extremely ignorant on chips overall, so I don't usually recognize like items.
Hahahahahahaha. Yeah, 2 sides of the same coin. Also Barrie: immediately references two different chips (issued 6 and 32 years ago) and then hypes up the idea of someone building a 14 rack limit set.
That $20 chip would've made a perfect T20K/T25K chip for the tourney set. Just sayin' like.LIMIT SET ANNOUNCEMENT
There were 6 sets of limit chips available (maybe call it 7 because of this double set). There are only 2 left available for purchase tomorrow. Plus one rack of $2 and one rack of $20 chips. If you might want one with either of the extra racks please email me a special request before 9am tomorrow.
The meet-up pics definitely doing a lot for the sales/marketing department here...Having seen the chips photographed in stacks in meetup lighting, I think these are one of the better NAGBs in recent memory, for me. Understated colours and edge spot designs? Yes please.
Today is the big tourney, starting early afternoon. Wish I could make it, but it’ll be fun to see photos coming with the tourney chips. I think he said they were expecting 4 full tablesThe meet-up pics definitely doing a lot for the sales/marketing department here...
Question is when will we see the tournament set in play??
