NEW RELEASE - FARO DUNES - PAULSON CHIPS (68 Viewers)

The T1k and T5k are my favs, simply because they make me feel like I'm on vacation. I could see them being used in destination spots in Costa Rica, Turks & Caicos, Saint Lucia, etc.

I like the T100 as well, purple is my lifelong fav color (T500), so I can get down with playing a tournament of these.

My least fav is the $1, not for any design reason, just that I'm not necessarily a chipper and couldn't tell you any of the chip design Tv18s number things and generally couldn't tell you what any chip is from a side view. And while I normally couldn't make out any tribute chip or similar chip, saw this and instantly thought CC $1s. Several cash chips look familiar, with $5s reminding me of LCOs. Variety is the spice of life for me, so I like something new. Thankfully I'm extremely ignorant on chips overall, so I don't usually recognize like items.

Looking forward to the splashed pots in MN! (now someone buy 14 racks of T1k for a limit set)

I do hope there will be a NAGB at some point with a full backstory and some of the accoutrement.

With how crazy some folks are here, I know I'm not alone in loving all the extra stuff with chips/hosting (for me more than chips themselves) - from the cases made by alec, the painstaking background, yadda yadda. We do see that quite a bit with custom CPC sets, obviously because those are meaningful to the individual.

But I can't help but think it's not too hard to do that with things like RPC and Faro Dunes especially, Tigers, BTPS, etc. to a lessor degree (but still was plenty possible!).

On the next one, whoever does it, can we please get a NAGB from a faux casino in Hawaii with their local flauna and flora, can we get a Saint Lucian casino NAGB with the pitons on the design (shown below), oh man what about a NAGB titled "Leeward Islands" or "Windward Islands" or "British Guyana" and have them be from an old defunct gambling hall during the time Britain oversaw those Caribbean regions.

This isn't specific to the Faro Dunes, just seems crazy to go through all the other hoops, along with the hundreds of thousands of dollars spent, to not build in some story or at least a couple winks and nods into the chips.

NAGB submitters, don't only rely on old heads to put together a design. Grab someone to assist in the art of storytelling, to add some flavour to the mix and design!

Tasty as hell!

Dude! No clue if you remember, but did you by chance try Casava? It was super cheap, what I remember from it was it’s a plant/root vegetable or something, and they made it in huge steel cooking ware kinda like masa, into little cakes.

Extremely cheap, extraordinarily filling, weirdly fibrous - loved it.

I don't think I did, I just remember pounding BBC's poolside like it was going out of style (lol)

Keep coming back to these to stare, definitely a slow burn for me (in a good way). Big fan, love the chips! Very well done/classy, and both sets (colors/stamp designs) are great. Congrats!!

These are beautiful. As a newcomer to the chipper scene, I find myself liking hot stamps more and more each day. My wallet is fearing for its life each time I come back to this thread!

Also Barrie: immediately references two different chips (issued 6 and 32 years ago) and then hypes up the idea of someone building a 14 rack limit set.
Hahahahahahaha. Yeah, 2 sides of the same coin.

The funny part is I have no idea on those timelines, I just see em in classifieds/posted.

I like what I like!

Wrapping up and day one of MinneMania.. lost 4 buy ins quickly out of the gate but clawed back to -100. I'll call that a win. Great day with some real quality people.

I just wanted to take a minute before calling it a night to thank everyone for the overwhelming positive feedback for the Faro Dunes chips. There was a lot of work put into every detail for the entire collection. It means the world to me seeing all the great comments from OG chippers and new guys alike. Special thanks to @inca911 @ChaosRock and @p5woody It's hard to believable but these chips actually look better in person than they do on a monitor... FACT.. Ask anyone at the meet-up.

It was awesome to get the cash chips in play all day on 2 tables. I don't think that there was any need to break out the hundos. The 500 piece Cash Value easily accommodates a single table... and the 1000 pc was certainly enough for 2 tables. Looking forward to pulling out the massive limit set tomorrow.

It's true...these look fantastic in person. The main colors are very bold and distinct from each other. The spot choices give very nice personality to the chips when stacked up. I'm a fan.

LIMIT SET ANNOUNCEMENT

There were 6 sets of limit chips available (maybe call it 7 because of this double set). There are only 2 left available for purchase tomorrow. Plus one rack of $2 and one rack of $20 chips. If you might want one with either of the extra racks please email me a special request before 9am tomorrow.

Just got my sample set - these chips are fire. There are so many awesome color combos, and they look even better in person. Love the dealer button too. Well done.

That $20 chip would've made a perfect T20K/T25K chip for the tourney set. Just sayin' like.

Having seen the chips photographed in stacks in meetup lighting, I think these are one of the better NAGBs in recent memory, for me. Understated colours and edge spot designs? Yes please.
The meet-up pics definitely doing a lot for the sales/marketing department here...

Question is when will we see the tournament set in play??

Today is the big tourney, starting early afternoon. Wish I could make it, but it’ll be fun to see photos coming with the tourney chips. I think he said they were expecting 4 full tables

Sale starting around 1pm ET. Get any last special requests emailed asap.

Low inventory alert!!! There are only 2 limit sets left for purchase. There were only 6 or 7 made. See pictures from the limit game below.

All sample sets orders placed before the deadline were upgraded and sent out Fedex. All delivered on time except one that had 1 foot of snow. All full sets will ship via Fedex Express 2 Day... they just might take a little time to process on my end. But I like to under promise and over deliver. Good luck everyone!!!
