SALE UPDATE:

  1. I am just getting back to the vault from the meet-up and travel. Hell of a good time but I'm a little behind as there were a bunch of special requests that I have to deal with manually. Sorting everything out currently and want to get this 100% correct.
  2. If you have communicated with me via email or DM and I have said your set is 'reserved' or your order is 'approved'. You 100% will get your chips (pending payment). I will be sending out invoices tonight thru about noon tomorrow. If you haven't received your invoice by noon tomorrow, you are welcome to reach out to me via email leap@silverfrog.com
  3. Release sale prices will be valid thru Saturday March 15th on remaining inventory. Prices on certain items may go up after that time. No.. they will not go down.
  4. LOW INVENTORY ALERT - the following items are at a low inventory as far as I can tell.. as long as all the communication is correct and everyone pays
    • 1100 pc Limit Set - Only 1 Set Remains
    • 400 pc Tournament Set - Only 2 Remain (Updated)
    • 1000 pc Cash Set with $100 chips - Only 7 Remain
  5. I will get the first orders in the air tomorrow and hope to have all paid orders in fedex's hands by Tuesday. People will start receiving packages in a few short days.
Any questions... PLEASE EMAIL ME leap@silverfrog.com. Trying to organize this thru DM is very difficult to keep track of. Email is the best form of communication for orders.

The earlier update post mention additional Tournament Bounty chips might be available for add on, just wanted to see if that is correct. Another barrel of those wouldn't go amiss.

Which. Leads to the question...

Is there a possibility of allowing art use to make a T20K/T25K plaque for rebuy tournaments at that level? If my math is correct, the breakdowns have plenty of flex for color up, but not for rebuy (T20K tourney a/k/a The Manzoni)

The base 600pc set (minus 20 bounties) is below. The T25 and T100 chips are worth 1,000 per player, so 4 x T5K takes care of color-ups for a 20 player field (20K). After giving 20 players a T20k starting stack (i.e., two T5Ks per stack * 20 players = 40 T5K) that leaves n=16 x T5K to cover four rebuys at a T20K tournament. Decreasing starting stack to T15K can enable five rebuys.
  • T25 = 160
  • T100 = 160
  • T500 = 80
  • T1K = 140
  • T5K = 60

This means that the manufacturer used the same exact specifications and did not alter any process to manufacture these chips .. therefore they were made to the same exacting standards used for casinos.
Yeah that’s actually fair. Because when GPI was briefly selling those marketing chips on the no mold (under the BCC label?) a few years back, we all wondered if they were using the same Paulson clay that went into Paulsons.
And Paulson also produced those 41mm chips for home use, which used a lighter weight clay.
So it’s worth mentioning that your chips are the real deal.

Got it, thanks. I guess I'm just confused about the "genuine casino chips," because they're not? Understand they were created using the same specifications and standards for casinos, but as far as I understand they're not casino chips?

I like that these chips are a little more understated and tasteful than previous NAGB’s. I always imagined the conversation between previous NAGB customers and GPI to go something like :

GPI: “So what colors and edgespots were you looking to order for your set?”

…..“All of them”

Casino chip designs are strictly regulated by state and territorial gaming commissions, dictating colors, markings, and security features. Given that Angel/Paulson hasn't returned to the open market, it's safe to assume their chip production continues to meet their high manufacturing standards for all chip orders.

Totally agree. And the fact that these are half the price says alot too.
