My daughter and her fiance moved in with me and I temporarily lost custody of my basement poker room. I relocated the poker table to a small dinning/living room area where I had to replace my dinning room table with a small round table. The round table is fine for only 4 or 5 people. That's why I decided to make a simple topper to cover the poker table for when I have a couple guests over.
3/4" Cherry plywood with "Leather Look" T-molding.
A little of both. The table would be 42" at its widest point x 96" not counting the padding on the rail. I added 1.5" per side overhang on the width but was limited to 96" on the length. I plan on putting a black table cloth on top of the rail/under the topper to protect the vinyl and disguise the uneven overhang.
