I am on a roll with error chips. Was cleaning this one when I noticed something wrong.

Thicker font on the left chip, more noticeable on the dollar sign. Error, or quirk?

I'd say quirk. The label was over-inked in the print process and bled some. Still cool!

Canary is the standard, but this CDI $1 has arc + blaze…

Port Royals - this batch of $100 had a lighter-coloured splotch in the centre, and $25s were a bit pale. The problem with the $25s didn't get picked up well by phone camera. Ultimately not that bad - at a distance, gives a kind of "lived-in" feel before you notice it's actually because of an error.

Was a bit slow during work so I looked through my brand new CPC set, found 6 errors out of ~700 chips.

Found an extra special DOUBLE error on the top $25 chip. The edge spots should be alternating.

I also found 1 chip with a random bit of clay baked into the middle of it.

I never gave it much thought, but the $1 error chip (without the sploch) is a way better spot pattern than the correct way.
