And congrats to @RoyalBluff for winning the tournament! I managed to hold on to bust out around 14th, but that's like a miracle for me. So my game must be improving! My speed-shuffling (deck, not chips) sure is.

Thanks! Yes, 14/40 out of tough, seasoned players is a win! Got really lucky and I give credit to the CDI's for bringing that :D

Ship me over a couple barrels of each, and I’ll be happy to give you detailed feedback on whether those chips are any good or not! ;) :whistle: :whistling:
You're assuming that I had any in front of me at the conclusion of my play for the evening, which I did not.

Best part about leaving the table for morning cleanup is one last chance to play with the chips before the week starts!

My dad and I built that about 15 years ago. The felt is a reverse platinum suited speed cloth. It looks good on camera and great in person.
You both did a great job, this will be something I will be looking at doing one day... any idea if there are any plans/guides available?

The plans for that one, I pulled off of homepokertourney.com, which unfortunately, doesn't exist anymore. Take a look in the poker table section, there are tons of plans and guides on there. Lots of excellent resources on here as far as builds go. @T_Chan @Irish and @Trihonda have all answered questions for me in the past. There are a lot of good builders on this site.

CHAOS!

Last night was another Chaos tourney with my Tuesday night group. We only had six players; half the regs are out of town this week. In spite of being massively card dead, I was chip leader at one point thanks to being on the good end of a couple of stack trades, then catching a set in a huge mid-tourney pot.

Unfortunately it didn't last, and I gave away about half of it in three hands. I finished on the bubble in third place.

My group has done this monthly since the beginning of the year, and so far so good. It gets a good turnout (excepting last night) and everyone enjoys it as a break from NLHE.

I'm using that to teach some circus game fundamentals: basic concepts like "when there are more cards in your hand or on the board, the average winning hand will be bigger."

I also taught our regular host how to play scarney, and he really liked it. :sneaky:

I love seeing these in play!!! Way more action shots are needed.
Thanks. Next time I will. Nobody noticed yet that I wasn't able to put the lions in play because I haven't told the wife that I've got them yet lol.

I'm going to wait until the downswing ends and I start winning again to tell her  :ROFLMAO:

Oh and I really need to oil all of the yellows. The non-oiled ones really stand out in stacks.
