Thanks! I really enjoy hosting and the guys like it because they know there will be a regular game.
Setup looks great Craig. Nice numbers for your league night. Better luck next month

IPA's and Double IPA are the strongest growing beers right now in the USA where 6-8% is common. So, they are strong by beer standards. There's 10-15% too but not common as a whole. Is it true you only drink weak low percentage beer, or is that a common misconception?
How'd the Gassers do, and how much cleaning did you have to do to them? It's conceivable that I could pick some of those up; I have family relatively close-by (would still take a monumental effort, but if it's worth it, then maybe... )
The chairs did great! All I did was wipe them down with a soapy rag. A couple of them could use a deeper cleaning. They're old, the color is fugly, but damn they are so much more comfortable than folding chairs. My vote is they are worth it for $25 a pop.
... Then we played no limit taxes hold'em
Sometimes it does feel like that....
are those gemacos poker sized? if they are, do they make bridge sized too?An action hand from last night's cash game: flopped boat vs. flopped set vs. turned Khi flush:View attachment 32894
The Gemaco Superflex are holding up very well. Will rotate the Modiano Platinum Acetates in next month and share feedback.
After a good cleaning, I also got the new ACF set from @DMZ into play for a T5000 tourney:

Got the BUBBS' POKER DEN set in play for the first time last night... We started early, around 5pm, running two tables, one NLHE and one mixed flop games... We combined tables around 11pm and only played Hold'em after that... Game broke off a little before 3am... I couldn't be happier having great friends over for the debut of Bubbs' set and how the chips performed on the felt... Just awesome! Thanks @detroitdad and @mike32 for coming over and for being the great dudes y'all are...
Didn't have time to take a bunch of pictures as I had to divide my time between hosting, banking and trying to avoid the sharks to take all of my bankroll... But here's a few:
My stack an hour before losing a few pots and cashing out... Still a profitable night:
Boat over boat stack off:
Chips that remained on the table at the end:
All the chips made their way back 'home'...
Love the chips! What kind of a case is that and where are they sold?
Very cool. Just checked Amazon they are like $190, I may have to give it a shot
