Someone left the pretzels open and they're getting stale... :(

This is a pretty typical poker night at the Camino Casino (with people I might add ;)). We run a 6 handed cash game, I try to provide some snacks, a drink of the night (usually involving Whiskey) and we play a pretty loose .25/.50 game. I run the table most nights, but it basically only pays for the cost of hosting. It's a great social night and it's gone from bi-weekly to weekly.

Cards are Copags, chips are Yin Yangs (soon to be replaced, DDLM samples incoming!) and we just use one of those rubberized table tops, which work surprisingly well! However, I'll be meeting with @T_Chan soon to discuss my new build. That said, just playing is more important than WHAT you play with, and we are happy with what we have at the moment. I'm the only chipper in the group.

If any of you are in Whistler, BC and fancy a friendly game, let me know!

Great setup, but if you’re serving brie that’s way too fancy for me!

And to prove we actually have people show up.

And the second pic is when we hosted at another one of my friends place. Costumes are always encouraged.

Our wives went out for a girls night, we decided to do a casual 6 person .25/.50 NLHE game on a Tuesday. Everyone bought in for $25. Pictured below is the craziest hand I've ever seen hosting at my house. Actually, it is the first Royal Flush here. I use Paulson Pharaohs NCVs, because I like mixing up color combinations/denominations. During this game, we were using .25 white/$1 blue/$5 orange. I was in the Big Blind and had 9s/8s. Everyone slow played, and I raised. Eventually, I folded in hurry and got out of the way.

Boat, Quads, and a Royal in the same hand????

That's insane.

Some one needs to calculate the odds on that. It has to be astronomical.

That's some James Bond nonsense there!

@justsomedude
We were wondering that ourselves. I have been hosting a monthly game on that table since 2007 for the most part with the same guys give or take a couple more from time to time... this is definitely a first
By the way, I didn't want to say too much, but there was a call for a deck change. I broke out a bottle of Woodford Reserve, and my friend with the Quads took a cigar break. I wanted to laugh, but kept my mouth shut. It was supposed to be a friendly, fun game for a couple of hours, but it got a little serious. We were still texting each other about it all day today

@Beakertwang
During our group texts today, I mentioned that "Casino Royale" had the most BS hand ever, and we lived it

A few years ago we had a straight flush over quads in my cash game, but no boat. Two out of three ain’t bad!

Last nights game. Low stakes cash with my regulars. Drink was a Pyrat Rum old fashioned, baked Brie (sorry @Hornet) and bread for snacks.

Now before you get all tilted, the guys finally agreed to drop the .50¢.

They did however vote to keep the $10 plaque and the $5’s. The reason was for the guys that want to buy in for the low stakes and keep $10 off the table for rebuys. And after winning a good percentage of sessions I’m inclined to not change too much. ;)

Winner cashed for $130, I ended up cashing for $74. Hand of the night (At least my favorite!) was an all in three ways: UTG w/KJs, HJ w/AQs and AA for hero on the button, board ran clean and I knocked them both out.

Yes, the person triple fisting beer, wine and an old fashioned is hurting today.

That looks fancy. I offer my players tap water and a toilet.

That's where the water comes from.

Nice work!

It’s fancy, but my chips, “table”, and cards are cheap shit compared to most of you guys. Ha

Chips, tables and cards can only yield pleasure in the company of people, especially the right people.
It seems that you 've got the latter, and that just can't be bought:tup:

That is true. We run an open game where anyone in my poker group can join (max 6 seats), then we run a Reg group where only 7 friends are invited and we always get 5-6 (still 6 max). These are bi-weekly as well so I have a game every week.

My fifth game of Rounders Poker NLHE but was unable to fill this one, so 7 stacks to start...T10K. The CPC Rounders will be making their return to the felt! About time, excited to get them in play again, they feel exactly the same as the day I received them.

Excited to be putting my new Desjgn cards in play. Thanks @T_Chan for bringing these in and helping to make them a bit more affordable and available to us degens
