@inca911 came over for game of open face Chinese Poker. First time playing it for two of us and we had a blast! Played for 6 hours. Most fun I've had in ages!

This was one of my best hands of the night. The hand before I gambled and put Ace's up top so I could get into fantasy land and it paid off.

Too bad that jack wasn't a diamond.

Action from an April game, Chips from the Double Down Saloon are in play

Crazy Jr { left} is putting The Young LAG {right} to a test. The Cougar waits patiently in the middle.

Young LAG was the preflop aggressor and makes a normal C-bet. He likely bets that flop close to 100% of the time. "$35 to go!"

Crazy Jr is on an early hot run and is having none of it. "$50 on top!"

The Young LAG doens't belive a word of it, You can see the look on his face. But he knows Crazy JR will likely put him to the test for all of his chips by the end of the hand. It could be ace high is the best hand. WIth these two, you never know.

In the end The Young LAG waves the white flag and CrazyJr adds another $100 to his already impressive early stack.

My al fresco autumn cash game setup, alternating orbits of 8-handed NLHE and PLO. Super High Roller Cash Game 2015 in the background to encourage gambol and put some perspective on the stakes... didn't really work. In for $60 out for $180.

Playing out on the deck? Fricken awesome...................

Last minute 3 handed PLO game. .25/.50 In for $100, I was the only one to cash out. Fun little night of drinking and cards.

Big hand of the night was me flopping quad 4's vs Queens full

.25/.50 cash 60.00 buy in. Second orbit we had a 4 way AIPF in PLO. I ended up scooping with a flopped 9 high flush that held up.

We play this game all the time. It is called "13", for the 13 cards that each of the four players get. The object is to make three best poker hands with the 13 cards.

At a home game (not hosted my me) Had to deal with dice chips and a fold out table, at least I brought my copag plastic cards!

Last night we had likely our biggest game ever. Nickel-dime PLO for two hours followed by five hours of quarter-fiddie NLHE. Had nine players the entire night. Everyone bought in for $100 initially. PLO was a little brutal and we had a few players rebuy during that time. We allow rebuy up to largest stack. This basically results in some rebuys of $200... Later in the evening... Well that started during PLO. We ended up having $2900 on the table. I think our former record was $1800.
We do a $5 high hand pot... I won that with quad kings. Despite winning that hand and the $45 high hand pot... And the actual pot of $300... I finished down $200.
Our big winner was the friend that got me in to poker some 15 years ago. He was plus $500 on a $500 buy in. The pic below is his stack before he lost some back.
We had the Dunes in play.
