Opening night for the Bullenrunde table. 6 handed NLHE 10ct/10ct on the Isle of Capri set and I couldn't be more excited since it's our first game since october last year.

In for €20, out for €44.80. :)

The players were impressed by the new table and some even realized the chips were nicer than the ceramics we've been using for 6 years now.

All in all I'd call it a great success. :D

Those cards are fantastic, I have the same ones and I love them.

What was the feedback from the crew?

Absolutely beautiful center logo, really nice colors. Nice job. Even the cards look cool.

One personal peeve, wonder if others share it - It annoys me when a player has actual racks on the table and plays from it. No idea why, it just does.

In for €50 (after topping up several times)
Out for €59. In the end I was glad to finish on a small win.

As expected, the hot pink isle of capris were a big hit with our female players. Can recommend. ;)

The hand of the night was versus a player I've been playing with for 6 years now. He is sticky, likes to call and see a showdown. He rarely ever raises post flop and if he does, he's got a strong made hand. He plays pretty much face up.

I've got ~€25 effective in my stack.
Villain open raises from the CO to 50ct (a rare event, so I expect him to have 99+ AQo+), I'm in the sb with JhJs.
I reraise my JJ to €2, determined to play a big pot with him, because it's usually easy to navigate the board postflop vs him.
He calls.

Flop is 4c6c8d
I downbet €1,5, he calls. From this player, this usually means 2 overcards or maybe an overpair that is not strong enough to raise (in his mind at least)

Pot is €7.
Turn is 9h - he looks unhappy.

I bet €4 - he quickly calls.

Pot is €15
River is 10s
I don't like it. All pocket pairs he might hold now are either higher than mine or have improved to a set. That and his eyes light up when the card hits and he goes to grab chips out of turn.
I check to him, he instabets €9 with a move I've seen him do only when he's got the nuts.

I fold my JJ face up, expecting him to have TT.

He says "don't worry man, I had it." tables AKc. Everyone looks confused. He realizes the river was a spade, not a club, so his flush draw actually bricked. Everyone (except me ofc) has a good laugh and I rebuy. ;)

You could have win this hand online as you can’t see his reaction at turn and river

I will put him on flush miss when he bet $9 at river Big over pair AA KK played too passive and will raise at turn for more info

And either u have typo somewhere u have a J straight which will win over set 10 who you put him on

You only losing to JQ at river

You're correct, there is a typo, I did not have a straight. - fixed. :)

Online without reads, I play this hand differently as well. ;)

18 months since my last game. 15 months since I bought the chips (now working on a RHC mixed set) and 12 months since I built the table! It’s finally happening! Even a broken foot wasn’t stopping me!
