A night of being card dead and then bad beats when I landed my cards. Was down to 1500 and worked my way back up to >20k. Got it in good over top of big stack villain while on the bubble. My AQhh vs his A10o and of course he hits his 10 on the river.

Similar story for the cash game.

To be fair, playing on those chips should count as a win.

In for $700 in the 50c/50c game, down most of the night but cashed out for $976 thanks to stacking @The Nuts. Failed again to convince the host to use better chips (Brian brought his Starlite cards mold tributes).

6 handed 10ct/20ct NLHE at a friends house. I brought the IOC as a guest set, took care of the bank and enjoyed being noisy without fearing waking my kids or the wife.

I hate those five boxes where the cards are supposed to be dealt on the neoprene mat... Triggers my OCD in so many unpleasant ways, but I applaude my friend for a big step up from a wooden kitchen table.

High point of the session. Up €30.

Two coolers later: In for €30 out for €40. It's not much but it's honest work.

Biggest win of the night: I got my timid group to finally raise the stakes from 10ct/10ct to 10ct/20ct and everything went smoothly.
