That's a super cool idea for a table/card room theme. Keep posting pics lol
Here we go, found an older one. I made the chips before the table. Gonna redo the chips one of these days to fit the theme.

Those are some of the most fun games! Casual, friendly, and short handed. Especially if you are playing dealers choice
I love short handed poker. Max 6-7 is my jam. More playable hands, better social aspect, and overall quicker game.

It’s why I designed my chanman to be 48”x84” with a soft dealer cutout for me. I never want more than 8 total.

I almost host exclusively dealers choice games. I max it out at 8 players. I prefer 7 because it makes most of the games playable.

Totally agree. NLHE with a full table (8-10 players) is painstakingly boring and in a tournament, I feel like I need to nit it up to have any kind of success.

The sweet spot is 6 to 7 players to me for NLHE and 4 to 6 for dealer's choice, IMO. Short handed dealer's choice with 4 or 5 players is really fun. Players play looser and generally speaking more money gets in quicker

Getting the basement set up for my biggest game yet. 23 players, with 4 more on the waiting list (government restrictions only allow 25 people in a house). One more table will be set up in the other part of the basement. It will be a little cramped for going to get a drink, or to the bathroom, but better than nothing!
