check this SOHE Hand Out the Hand that won it was her first time playing we were playing $0.25/$0.50 blinds she made it $20 pre flop lol so my buddy was like man I dont wanna be an asshole cause shes never played before but so she kept talking junk so he moves in for like $70 total she calls and his crazy hand preflop gets smoked LOL crazy hand love that game here is a pic of it

if she would have went a diff route and kept the J10 of Diamonds she would have flopped a Royal lol his hand pre is pretty nasty obvs her's isn't bad either but just goes to show you doesn't matter how big of a fav you ae pre-flop in any game esp SOHE

Also what makes this crazy is it was on my Deal and I shuffle the paint off the cards before I deal they say 7 is a consistant shuffle I usually do 7-10

Also this is why I hate the Term "Blocker" she had 4 diamonds out of her 6 cards and 5 diamonds hit the board so in 17 cards 9 diamonds were out there LOL

I always play it PL but I feel like that kind of thing is very open to negotiation/change based on the group.

It just seems like SOHE is much spicier than Omaha (at least the number of players and the way pots build at my table) and I don’t usually hear people playing NLO so I wouldn’t have expected people to play SOHE as NL.
