Getting ready for tonight's first-ever Razz tournament. Nobody in the group has ever played a Razz tournament before, and only 3 players even have experience playing Razz, so it's anybody's guess who is going to win (or at least whos going to finish 4th).

Paying a deeper field tonight to make sure at least one first-timer makes a profit.

Had 24 signed up, but late cancellations have dropped that to 15, so still a good sized group. However, Late cancellations after I already bought dinner tilts me. With the Zombie Poker Classic right around the corner, and prime rib costing $299.60 from the restaurant supply....

Let's just say that there are a number of people that will not be invited back. It's too expensive to buy food for no-shows.

Damn, that’s tragic.

You should have a cancelation fee to help cover the cost. Seems only fair so you don’t get stuck with a huge bill

What time is the game? I can be there in 19 hours.

As much as I hate cancellations, how many were honest enough to say the game choice was the reason for canceling?

These chips seem to stack pretty well.

@Godzilla28 @quintooo

Nuttiest hand of the night around midnight.

$1/$1. UTG AI blind PF for $68. Good guy running bad all night. Eventually has 79o.

I call blind. Yolo.

SB has KK and jams for another $90(?).

I call blind again. (Don’t read too much into how I play from this hand). Open to have 46o.

Flop J76. Piece for everyone.

Turn 5. Lotta outs...

River 6.

I wake up this morning deciding I need more Hooters chips.

Yes, I see that chip on top certainly is stacked...

What I wouldn't give to be in a zombie razz tournament...what silly gooses those cancelers are ...

One. And that person already has a mark on their record for a prior no-show no call. Thus they will be removed from the invite list.
Sorry, the first time I lost track of time and was completely my fault. The second, I wasn't aware of the changed game format until it was mentioned to me on Thursday and was just sent the poster schedule then. I gave a notice the day after. I guess that still is too short of a notice for food prep? I'm sorry about that if it was.
