I broke my streak of running F1 tires as my card protector last weekend at Oktoberfest so last night I figured let's switch it up again...

I feel your pain. In our end of the year freezeout tournament, I was first out by at least 5 levels, in 2 of the last 3 years. It's like you're a ghost.
Update on our tournament we had yesterday. It was my first time ever playing craps or trying it out. It was just a fun game, but man that was a lot of fun! In the tournament we all started with $500 and then tried to run it up as much as possible for 45 minutes. I think there were 10-12 of us playing and I believe I ended up getting 5th or tying for 5th/6th (something like that). I ended the session with $310 (I believe) so not bad at all in my opinion. There was one guy who just kept running it up and it was crazy. Overall super fun 1st time playing and it definitely won't be my last. Now it's time to try it at the casinos though...
well... you're talking to the right guy! We have two craps tables at work and we do rent them out here and there to practice during open hours. If its possible I can try to set up a get together night similar to last night where we just have fun. Practice for about an hour or so, get used to playing, betting and so on. Then, we just had a fun little tournament to see who could run it up. That's a possibility.
There is also Casino Quest at Fashion Show Mall. They basically specialize in helping teach. The owners own CEG dealing school and used to be dealers themselves so they know exactly what they are doing/talking about. Really fun guys and super fun team. I really enjoy them. They also make videos teaching how to play, different ways to bet, what you're looking for in craps and more.

Session end, was upped a ton until the last bomb pot where I lost about $220 when a Boat vs another Boat, these bomb pot always make or break my heart

The chips stack so effortlessly and were a joy to play.
