How do you lose 1500bb in a $1/$1 Welcome Newby game, you say? When the newbies hit everything under the sun. And all my big pairs getting cracked with KK cracked twice. Ouch! Good times with good food, drinks and chippies tho. Welcome to the game freaking newbies!

NLH Q8 > As8s, flop was Q8X, one spade, money went in on the turn 8 which boated up Matt and gave Tim trips and the nut flush draw.
Luckily I don’t ever wear pants so I didn’t need them anyway . . .

Another “mini meetup” like feel to the game last night put on by chipper extraordinaire @grantc54
It was awesome to meet @MichaelBubly . As well, @Pippa @ChipRocker were also in attendance. It was alot of fun last night. I made another final but fell short to cash again. It’s been a struggle for me since coming back to poker after COVID.
Here are some snaps of the great set of Lady lucks put out by Grant. What a treat…
Here is @ChipRocker getting his chips in…he made a pretty big set here with pocket kings after he tanked for a few with the flush draw on board

Here is a shot from the Cali Bay Area Game (Alameda) I just played with the boys last weekend. I am in seat 6 or is that 7? These die hards host three tables of tourneys weekly, then a juicy cash game after, oh and ya they just ordered some new chips from me so stay tuned for those pics!!!

Had a very quiet first half, i do manage to fold my Jacks when my UTG raise was 3! by the CO & 4! by the SB. As expected, One is holding Aces and the other is holding Kings
Topped up another $100 to the stack and manage to get a double up shortly after when I flopped a flush vs a set, and it went all smoothly after that

did your game run into any dirty stack issues with the 1's and 5's? I love these chips, but my players had a lot of issues with stacking in 5's into the 1's or vice versa.Session ended
