You should definitely try it out @tallsbutler, it's a lot of fun getting high value chips into play especially if your game is just a group of "average Joes" and u guys don't gamble for nosebleed stakes.@LeLe When you use a set like this for those stakes, I assume you play with everything at 1/10 face value? Does having 2.50 and 10.00 chips throw anyone off or does it play smooth? I have been thinking of trying this.
Do other people do this too? Makes a lot of sense to me as it would mimic casino poker experience more closely.
