Playing at @Trihonda ‘s Fat Tire poker room last night.

Whipsaw night, several hours of looking down at hands like :qd::4s: , :3h::9d: and :jd::2s: is frustrating. The few playable hands I had early in the night I ran into pocket aces twice, both times each villain hit trips with me having top two pair. I could have easily busted both times, but somehow survived. In for $60, ran down to less than $20, added on for another $60. Ran down again into the $30’s, things improved a little and I won a couple of medium sized pots getting me closer to even. Final hand of the night was a bomb pot, double board Omaha.

Looked down at a very nice hand:
:ah::qh::kc::qs:

Six players to the flop which is:
Top Board :ts::kd::6h:
Bottom Board :9h::5h::4s:
Person in front of me raises $10, I call and two other players calls. Pot size approx. $60.

Turn:
Top Board :ts: :kd::6h::8c:
Bottom Board :9h::5h::4s::2h:

I lock in an ace high flush on the bottom board, first player to act bets $25. Next to act folds. I raise with a pot sized bet which is most of my remaining stack. Both players in the hand think about it for a while and eventually end up folding. I was a little surprised not to get at least one call, but IDK, maybe my bet sizing was off. The final hand got me into the green for the night. In for $120 total, out for $125.

I finally remembered to get some photos of my setup in play.

I use the Ellis Islands as quarters. It’s $.25/$.25 NLHE with a $25 buy in or up to half the biggest stack. We had a lot of fun last night.

I didn’t get a pic at the end of the night but I was up to over $300 when we broke (in for $125).

We also have an annoying cat that wanted in in the action. Literally dumped this poor guys stack before being evicted.

Good times all around!

Not even one pre game, post game, or after game cleanup photo from @kmccormick100 of the grand opening?

Pfffbbttttt
I’m a tired dad lol. Fun was had, game got a little out of hand with like $5500 on the table in a seven handed “$1/1” game. New chip set was fun, even if it took a little getting used to 39 and 43mm workhorse chips.

Love the bundles, but unless people are showing up with them, those are the most expensive $100 chips I've seen in play.
