One guy hit quads three times last night, all in Omaha, including one time where the two players in front of him went all on the turn. He had bottom set of 4’s. He said “I can’t be good here,” but proceeded to call. The other two had top set and second set. The river was the case 4.

I didn’t snap a pic of that one, but I did get a pic of this one. Ace-high flush vs full house vs straight flush on one board. I won half the pot with the weak diamond flush.

Got to re-debut my Paris cash set tonight, now freshly relabeled with correct frac & $25s courtesy of @Gear & @Wifey!

Ran pretty hot tonight. A couple stand out hands I scooped:
Scrotum 8, binked the unlikely straight with three cards held against three held aces.

Nearly the last hand of the night, NLHE, turned quads and villain leads into me with TT, I call, they lead river, I shove and get snap called :cool

And my final stack: in for $25, out for $277 playing .25/.25. Officially unstuck me for the year!

How’d you feel about the fracs and $1s going together? I think they work so perfectly!

Played at a local social poker league hosted by @karsus. Phenomenal venue, amazing host!

poker was fun, but very “social”. Snagged 2nd in the tourney.

we moved onto the cash game. It was a 1/2 NL game, and it was painful to buyin for just $60.. but tbh everyone else was only buying in for $50…. I got the impression folks just wanted to toss around chips.. It was extremely short stacked, but i also look at it this way, if I’m playing with folks who choose to BI to a 1/2 game with 25bb, I was hopeful I’d have a slight skill advantage.. I cashed out for $270, so there’s that. But there was a lot more luck/variance involved than I’d have liked. We used to play $.25/50 cash at these games, but people simply played it like a 1/2 game, so there was some consensus to just make it a 1/2 game. Doesn’t make “poker” sense, but I had fun, and so did other folks, and I guess that’s the main goal.

Ayo, completely and utterly card dead. Was a fun game and I love playing/hosting but oooph that hurts. No higher than Ace Queen (1x) or a pair on the flop, and the mook who was brought as a friend of a friend cleans up while I watch and fold my Q3o.

I play a black AQo...flop comes 654hhh. Ends up being....
Straight flush over straight flush! Crazy hand.

Dont usually mind, if its going to a friend its whatever but when it keeps going to the guy on his phone half the time its a bummer. Oh well, fun night overall and I played well, scratched and clawed for a few pots lol. Had 32o 5 times, and my apes deal very slowly.

Sorry to dig this up well from the past - what is the game where it looks like you have pre-dealt out 3 boards? The 15 cards face down in the middle of the table.

Cheers. I googled it but to no avail - looks and sounds similar though to Train Wreck? I didn't know train wreck existed until 5 minutes ago either.
basically derailment is a triple board PLO High only game but one of the 3 boards gets taken away on the river(the lowest river card of the 3) if 2 of them are the same and they are the lowest, they both get removed. if all 3 river cards are the same, the pot stays and it is re-dealt.
