That table looks great. Perfect for an 8 handed game
Honestly after playing mine and now his, they're awesome for 8, and I think you'd fit 9 easier on it then you would fit 10 on our old Barrington tables
 
OK - Noob question. What are those large NIT chips for???
Can’t be sure specifically for their game, but if you’re familiar with the Stand Up Game, some folks have been making the switch to using nit buttons to replace the actual standing up. And if you’re not familiar with that game, then it goes like this:

Everyone is given a nit button / stands up. When you win a hand, you turn your nit button back in / sit back down. Last person with a nit button in front of them, or left standing, owes the rest of the table a bounty - usually a few big blinds.

Ah, that sounds interesting. I had recalled NIT being a mild insult - was wondering if you get the chip for sitting out too many hands :P

This is it, we play the Nit Game at least once an evening. Win a hand, lose your Nit button. Last player remaining with a Nit button has to pay everyone else 4 big blinds each. Players are mostly into it, it for sure generates action.
