They really do speed up the game in my opinion, plus a consistent shuffle helps as well. Some folks flash cards when shuffle or just "mix" without any real shuffling happen - when you ask to pass the shuffle to players.

1 picture?!? I ironically also only had 1 hand all Tournament. I was down to 10 BB including my BB & BB ante & Frank had Pocket Jacks, I had Pocket Queens vs Baldy with Pocket Kings?!? Nice scoop Baldwin. (Somehow I still outlasted more than half the field)

Group put together a low buy in H.O.R.S.E. tournament, tons of fun but ran into it dead on 6th street in stud with 777KK vs. 9999. Great fun playing something beside hold 'em.
