In for $100 out for $259. Yay!

Pretty violent .5/1E tonight, with half of the crew (the "guest" crew) being well-read poker fanatics, who, among them, play 1/2E, so it indeed played like at least moderate 1/2.
In my house, I won't allow straddles, but 4BB (4 Euro at the official stakes) initial raises just don't get any respect.

My old friends just can't keep up with that level of skill and stakes, and I 'll never repeat the mistake of mixing them with the "sharks".
The issue is that old friends aren't very reliable poker-wise, whereas the hard-core guest crew is dying to play anytime.

@Eriks the spell has been erased! First win with the Paris set! In for 180E, out for 520E! :)

5c / 10c. Got two others all in preflop for about $15ea in PLO. I had AA33. Flopped two additional aces. Can't complain.

Some weirdo also thought the 72 game applied to PLO and tossed ~$5 in the pot preflop, before folding to the all ins. (We were letting dealers call games.)

In for $25. Out for ~$175.

Absolutely not sir, that gesture is scandalous! How dare you show us such filth?

Nice straight flush though, hope you made some money from it.
About a hundred big blinds, so not bad. Was really hoping the villain filled up.

Hosted again last night. It was last minute but we scraped together 8 players. I made fresh pico (for the first time) and it turned out good!

Lots of action players.

In for a couple buyins, but was able to Claw my way back to a $200 profit.

Got to play on my old table again! Chipper's home tournament was a blast, 21 players and I chopped the top 3 and made some money playing cash after. Felt good, needed a weekend away. Pardon the awful camera, no excuse. Fantastic day.

Played for the trophy, thought my Jacks were in the clear until that flop hit.

Broke in the Shorelines with a fun, splashy game at @Pippa's place.

I made quad aces in a PLO bomb pot early on.

Berny tried check jamming a bomb pot, but Nav sniffed it out with a straight.

I was blasting off with a gut shot and rivered Broadway against trip aces.

Flopped a boat against trip 4s in crazy pineapple.

Built stacks and punted stacks.

It’s been a while since I posted but our fortnightly poker game has still been running as usual!

NLHE 50c/50c with bomb pots after every monotone flop. Full house of 18 players.

IN for $250.
OUT for $766.50.

Won 3/4 of a huge bomb pot and had a guy jam into me with his straight vs full house.

Also carpeting my garage has made a huge difference in aesthetics, warmth and sound proofing. Should’ve done it ages ago!

This is gonna be more of a cross-post, as my esteemed chipping colleague @MichaelBubly , felted and debuted this absolutely stunning custom CPC set “Shorelines”. WOW!

It had been a long hiatus for me, away from live poker, and I’m a bit out of touch, but the game is the same, and these chips were amazing…

I was seated right next to my good buddy @Pippa who put on an amazing spread. Nothing but laughs, warmth, and a touch of love. Was a great night! Special thanks to his wife Mara! Was awesome!

Also sitting directly across and adjacent, were chipping buddies @MichaelBubly and @allforcharity ! It was awesome to share some felt with these gents!

These pics don’t do the chips justice, they are pure fire in person!! The $5s are ridiculous!

Special Edit : the capper seen in my photo, the NC $20, is infact the “bad luck capper” sold here a few years back by @Chippy McChiperson , and it surely served me well! Haha!

8 handed .25/.25 with non-PCF close family/friends. Possible game coming in November and I’ll extend to PCF locals. I suck at taking pictures but this is 3rd time hosting with this group and def more gambol this time around. I had high hand of the night when I rivered a Queen high straight flush (still my best hand to date). Bounty chips were used as show’em.
