1st time breaking out the PNY set. Took a long patient route building this set over the years and finally had enough to put into play for a cash game.

Fun poker day at @Pinball 's yesterday.
Always a pleasure to go to Dietikon and meet his great crew.

In this hand, Ac9c replaced the river 2c with his 9c to show what hand he had to an uninvolved player. @Pinball wins big with the flopped straight (6d7d). I had A2, but I decided to fold turn.

Everything was going well for me, before this:

I lost big again on 2 other hands:
A nuts straight turning into a second nuts loosing hand river (QJ vs KJ on T-9-5-8-Q) and once again KK vs AA... I could have found a postflop fold on this last hand, but ended up call-in...

Fortunately, @Pinball who ends BIG, gave me a sample of his latest CPC creation - Vine Hill Country Club. At least I didn't come home empty-handed. Thanks again mate!

Then I drank beers in the restaurant car of the Zurich-Freiburg train.

First event of the 2025 Lighthouse League was last night and @IllCallOneTime took it down:

It was a bounty tournament and I decided to surprise the guys with new bounties for the event, 3d printed statues of themselves:

This started out as a joke - I took this picture of @Gianvillante::

and turned it into this to use as a card capper:

But it cracked me up so much I decided statues would make great bounties, as you could easily look down and remember who you knocked out. So that’s what I did.

Anyways, fun inaugural night. Busted out the Lakehouse TRKs for the first time in a while for the tourney:

And the IHC solids for cash afterwards:
