One of our poker club members gave these to us today, so cool!
Love the rarely seen Pacific Stars!Don't know if it was Friday the 13th luck or the @Mesnik44 Christmas card protector, but went from struggling all night to a solid (and profitable) finish.

Love the rarely seen Pacific Stars!
First time on the felt, and for one rack of $1s it was the first time their box was unsealed.
My players were not suitably impressed. (n)
Not a chance. The owner is quite fond of themDibs.
I can't wait for this. The only thing my 8 year old ever wants to play is guts and we can't play for money because he literally has none. He does like it though, so the seeds are planted!
No negative reactions... A half-dozen positive ones... But mostly silence. Many of the guys just want to play cards (and are used to playing on much worse tables with dice chips in other home games around here, so everything is an upgrade). I’ll try to tease out more comments in future games.
I used to have one, but it was actually to big and made moving cards and chips in the middle difficult.
The art on the board is priceless.
My son just turned 8 and I'm teaching him how to play.
If that's seriously how you feel, then you should refuse to play with him at all. Soft-playing is cheating and unfair to the other players at the table. My son is 25 and plays regularly with us and I hate it. I can't stand being at the table with him because I can't stand taking his chips and seeing him disappointed. I know it is the game but last night he was sitting to my right and several times I would have normally raised the action but since he was in i didn't. I know it shouldn't affect my play and he is an adult , but it does. Probably always will.

My daughters drew it a few weeks back for me. It won’t be erased.

I finally was able to get get my Limit set into play last night. It was a 4 handed game that went until 3:45 this morning.
I was pickle in the middle ending up with second best both ways in several very large pots. I lost $300 or so, but it was a fun night and looking forward to doing it again.
The bottle of Bourbon was full when we started at 7pm!

What chips are those?
Mmmm, I love me some Bulleit bourbon.
It is my Mardi Gras/River Boat BCC mixed set. They have the same edge spots but a different but similar inlay. The set looks like a sister casinos chip mixed together.
Nice, my chip game must be getting better cause my first guess was Mardi Gras and 2nd guess was River Boats.
I don't want this to seem like I'm picking on you, but seriously -- if you can't play against him heads-up like you would any other player, then just don't play -- it's an easy decision that solves the problem. You're not doing your son any favors by soft-playing against him, and you are setting a really bad example.I understand what you are saying and I wouldn't condone cheating but it is hard for me to throw out a big bluff when it is just him and I in a pot. If others would consider that cheating then so-be-it.
