it prevents spillage from tipping the cup over, it would be rare for condensation to form on the metal, if you've not seen these, they have a metal tab sticking out that goes under the rail

Slide-unders are the best. Each player can place a drink on their left or right, depending on their handedness. Nobody fights over 1 cupholder. The guy that drinks water and alcohol, thus needing 2 cupholders can have 2 drinks (as long as there is a cupholder available. Even that freak that thinks a cupholder belongs right in front of them can have it that way.
My fourth table is in construction (my first Chanman table), and type of cupholder (slide-under) was the only detail that wasn't open for debate.

Note the left-over pizza crust on the cutting board with the garbage bag 20cm away. The crust was literally transported past the garbage bag to be placed on the cutting board. And yes, these are adults - seemingly functioning members of our society...

Finally snapped the cold spell of tournament run bad / bad play. Won @T_Chan's Heads Up tournament winning all 6 games. Nice to get some run good.
