I typically lean towards barrel proof offerings, but I’d most likely try the Saz18 as well. There’s quite a few on that list that I’ll never see a bottle of, so I would be staggering out if that place if I was there.
Been sharing Lagavulin 12 2021 Diageo Special Release CS with some folks who would appreciate such things. Sounds like @detroitdad and Kevin highly approve but we heard from the other end of the room when @Seeking Alpha Social Club took his back to his table 'what the hell are you drinking?!'
Also shared some Octomore 12.1 around my table and more than a few people took a sip. @Rbonus012 and @Hornet looked like they wanted to die but @Cliff looked at least slightly intrigued.
Can't beat @Hornet getting a big pour of a Huber Starlight Double Oaked on ice, coming back to the table and taking a sip before realizing it's 130 proof!

I am not a fan of peat. If there is peat in Oban 14 I can't taste it!
Just a little bit, but yes, there is some peated barley in the Oban distillate.
It’s always good to have a back up of a favorite bottle.
