Hey guys im looking to buy into this, its a great deal. so my dilemma is im trying to build a tourny set and a micro 5 cent cash set in one. what the least amount of chips i could do for 8 people. we really spend max 20 a night a person. i know i should get separate but i just bought a house and well money is a tad tight. im fine with calling a 25 dollar chip 25 cents. like to keep it under 600 if possible. tia

Depends what your starting stacks are and how many rebuys / addons you allow.

you could start with a 10k stack made up of

8 x T25
8 x T100
4 x T500
7 x T1000

You would need more T1000 and T5000 chips for rebuys and addons.

T10k Tourney Set (8 players)
T25 x 100
T100 x 100
T500 x 25
T1k x 75
T5k x 20 (optional)

12/12/3/7 starting stacks for 8 people. Enough extra 1ks to colour up the 25s and 100s. 300 chips but 20x T5k for 10 rebuys (optional).

Micro cash ($10 buy-in, 5c/10c blinds)
5c x 100
25c x 100
$1 x 80
$5 x 20

300 chips, $300 bank, if you need more let cash play.

If your guys are committing a max of $20/night then I'm thinking you do a $10 tourney with no rebuys and then play 5c/10c cash after (or just a $20 tourney/$10 cash game).

This is all a bit tight but workable. You know your game better than we do - so adjust appropriately. For example, I thought my guys would be happy playing micro but I was wrong. My 5c chips have never seen the felt. Similarly, my tourneys have lots of rebuys so my tourney sets need more at the top end to cover this.

Since I'm going to do my best to decrease final shipping costs I will be contacting you individually once they come in to verify addresses and final shipping payment. This will make it easier for me to organize as well as allow me to maximize packaging to reduce final shipping costs.

Again this cost is only estimated until I get the final invoice once the group buy closes. Shipping could be slightly more or less. Base chip costs on the 39mm chips will not change unless we reach the 30k point where I can haggle the cost down some more. The 43mm and 55mm costs are slightly more fluid as I have to wait to see what order totals will be and try to negotiate the best price on those items. You're only talking about pennies though.


I would ask that everyone please when you get a chance look at the spreadsheet to ensure I've ordered the exact items you want. I'm only human I make mistakes. Some people have caught a couple already and I've fixed them. So I hate to do this but I put the burden on you guys to verify your order is correct. Thanks!

Either the cane or the four suit symbols together like that in the "mold" area should be enough to start GPI's legal gears turning. With the two together, it's almost a certainty.

Just a question : wouldn’t these chips falling into the « parody » category for which exceptions to the copyright act exist ? (At least where I live, don’t know in the US...)
