Just a reminder that payments aren't due till the buy closes. So if anyone already knows what they're gonna order they can go ahead and put an order in. Payments will be due after the 18th.

Putting in your orders earlier helps people who maybe were on the fence see what a more accurate price will be as well as helping me get a more accurate figure of shipping costs.

I'm thinking about placing an order for my first tournament set. Any suggestions on how many chips in each denomination i would need for at least 12-14 players with rebuys. Tnx
It's easy to figure out, what base chip do you want to use and how many starting chips? Also no reason to only get 14 players if your 2 tables can hold 18 or 20. Will be just a few more bucks to future proof your game

Alright, fine.

I'm in for one whole sample set (one of every chip being made) PLUS 20 of the NCV "I hate u" chips. I can use them as bounty chips for my tournament sets that don't have bounty chips :)
That’s my plan with the NCV chips as well.

Next week you will need a travel cash set for when you go to the Eagles club tournaments and they don't have any. ;)

True on the amount of players. I definitely want to get the 25k chips involved. I guess 10k-16k starting stack perhaps with a 25$ base? Im a tourney director noob wanna be at my home game lol

I have the $25 base chip in mine. Butttt it looks like the future base chip is moving in the direction of $100 base.

For T-25 / 10k starting stack (20 players) I use:
8-T25 /160 chips
8-T100 /160 chips
2-T500 /40 chips
8-T1000/160+30 for color ups gives you 190 chips
40-T5k rebuys & or color ups
10-T25k color ups (would not really get used)

Total of 600 chips at $0.24 per chip thats only $144 and another $16 aprox to ship $160... amazing deal for a huge future proof tourney set. I am not familiar enough to give you chip counts for the T-100 base as I have never used it but will eventually go to it.

You will need much larger starting stacks or a lot more players to require the use of T25K chips in a T25-base set. Typically need at least 20 players with 20K stacks before T1000 chips are even removed from play, and even at those total chip levels, only a few chips (typically just six) will ever see play, and only for one blind level at most before the event ends.

To justify a full barrel of T25K chips, the event needs something along the lines of 40 players with 30K stacks, or around 1.2 million chips in play. A barrel of T25K chips = 0.5 million.

If wanting to utilize the T25K chips "just because", your best bet is to include a single-table T500-base option in your T25- or T100-base set. Just make sure you have at least one full rack each of T500, T1000, T5000, and T25000 chips, which can be used for starting stacks of T50K to T300K (10/10/7/x) with opening blinds of 500/1000 (the extra T5000 chips perfectly color-up the T500/T1000 chips). Allows a wide variety of events with turbo 50bb to deep 300bb starting stacks, playing from 2.5 hours (50K stacks, 15-minute blinds) to 7.5 hours (300K stacks, 30-minute levels), and everything in-between. Need two tables? Get two racks each.

Ok here's the story on the dealer buttons. We have to have a minimum of 100 of each design we order. So technically the alternate 20 is still under the cutting axe for the moment since we've only had 93 of those ordered.

If we can get 100 of a particular design ordered on dealer buttons and other assorted things we can do it. But if we fail to reach 100 then it's not. We are still deciding how we wanna do those. If anyone has any ideas or input I'm all ears. I'd say it's possible if the demand is there.

The other option is to go with ABC as we won't have to worry about quantities there but they would be significantly higher cost, which I'm fine with but on a bargain set it might be more costly than some want.

I'd be in for 2

I'm in for 2 dealer buttons. I'd also add alt. $20's to my order if necessary to get it over the minimum
