Today we talk about the differences between Cap Dash Hybrid Ceramic chips. and TR King Co Small Crown chips. The Cap Dash hybrid ceramics were made in tribute to the TRK SmCrown chips. With chip prices getting more and more expensive, especially with these original TRKs, it's harder to build these sets that everyone wants. For example, original Tropicana, Nevada Lodge, Pick Hobson Riverside, Primadonna, New China Club etc etc. You just can't find those chips in quantity or if you do, they are very expensive to build a set. With the Cap Dash ceramics, you have the opportunity to enjoy that similar feel of TRK chips at just a fraction of the cost. Hybrid ceramics diameters.. this came up when making the Tangiers mold with Tina. Opted for 39mm, but was told the greek is 39mm whereas the web mold is slightly larger at 39.3mm. Haven't measured myself though or heard their other chip dimensions.

And the scrown hybrid is Tina, but was a group buy done through pokerchipper.com and I believe limited to them.

I’ve noticed that a design I’ve made is on her website.

So not only they steal the design they are asked to print but also designs used at other manufacturers ? This is really a shame and in fact a reason why, if I want molded ceramics or hybrids, I go with SunFly only.

Today we quickly talking about the C.J. Sisk Company that has some what of an interesting history. The name being made up of C.J. which stands for Christy & Jones (Bill Christy & Bud Jones) who originally made the H&C chip. Back then, it was called a Christy & Jones chip or CJ chip. Today's version of those chips is the Paulson H&C chip. The difference is minor, but it's significant enough to talk about. Back to the topic, C.J. Sisk Co. was or is said to be the California subdivision of Paulson into the 80s. For some reason, not exactly sure, Paulson was banned from making chips for casinos/card room up until then, so they used a secondary business or distributor in California which was called C.J. Sisk Co. These were Paulson chips getting delivered to casino in California. Paulson at the time was ran by Paul Endy and Bill Christy. I show you guys some very impressive sample chips, talk about the history of C.J. Sisk Co and a few other goodies that the die hard chip collectors will love! Hope you enjoy!

Today I show you guys what has happened in the last week in downtown Las Vegas with the Gamblers General Store original building being sold. I'm not exactly who/what company/business/firm bought it, what they are going to do with it and their plans, but I wanted to mention. If you guys haven't been to downtown Vegas in a few years it's changed quite a bit. Gamblers has moved into a smaller building across the street right on Main St. The original lot that they were in including Fabrizios(I believe), that whole area is sold and under new ownership for the time being. The mural is gone, windows have been boarded up and much more. Hope you enjoy!

Today we talk about the NEW Faded Spade FSX 100% plastic playing cards. This was the first time I had ever felt Faded Spade cards. I've used plenty of other plastic decks before (Copag, original KEM, new KEM, Dal Negro, Cartamundi, Broken Arrow Supply and more) but these Faded Spade FSX cards have something different about them and that's something that I believe a lot of people are now liking. These might be a game changer coming here soon in the poker and playing card world! Hope you enjoy!

Today we talk about where old casino chips go after casinos close for good. Many people think they might get destroyed, and that's the case in Nevada, but outside of Nevada things are different. Not all casino chips get destroyed either, NCV or No Cash Value, Roulette and Promo chips are okay not to get destroyed, but all cash chips do get destroyed. In other states you actually have the opportunity to buy them in an auction, sale or even going on forums like PokerChipForum with vendors like @TheChipRoom and you're able to get a set of old casino chips for a really good price!
