I found a store with an old stock of cards online.
Mainly KEM and Copag.
Hope the Copags are made in Brazil, and the KEMs are not bowed!
I sent an email yesterday, no answer yet…

Old brazil Copags are amazing cards!
Fair price on the KEM, but crap if they‘re bowed.

We‘ll see… hope the guy got good news.
Would take a few extras to offer here on PCF.

I don‘t think this guy will ever answer…
Weird - the shop seems still in function, but no update since 2007…
And i don‘t want to blind order.

If you can purchase through a credit card, you've got a little bit of fraud protection built in. Might be more complicated if it's an international transaction...?

See if you can call them (if they have a # listed).

Similar situation with some old RC parts I was looking for. Old outdated website, didn’t monitor email, old email address, etc. Called the number, nicest guy in the world. Old retired guy that just never fully wound down and was selling to people that found him. I got some KILLER stuff at incredible prices!

The kind of stuff I was getting off eBay shipped from Australia for 10x the cost. If u need it, u need it kinda stuff. He never updated his prices from 20 yrs ago and didn’t care - lol. just glad to hook folks up with NOS LOSI parts!

Everything screamed scam, but he was 100% legit - go figure - lol.

It could be a similar situation here. I hope at least! ; )
I‘ll try again to contact this guy…

Be careful though - lol. I was worried it was a scam until I got the package - lol. I ended talking to the guy for like an hour when I called, and researched and confirmed he used to own an RC track, etc. But it was squirrelly  :ROFLMAO:

In the end, it turned out great and he was just cool old retired guy!

Nice story! ; )
I already ordered stuff from there, many years ago. It was good stuff, no scam!

To be continued…

I had this guy on the phone.
After i asked my questions, he sent me a picture of a single deck of brazil Copags that’s not listed in the online shop.
Then i sent him a list of the cards i would order, and never got an answer on this…
It‘s weird!
I will not order one single deck of cards, if he‘s not willing to confirm the origin of them.

I‘m a bit pissed, it would be a 600 bucks order.
But apparently he don‘t want my money…

Again, it‘s weird!

Honestly $600 is the new $20. It’s just not worth it to drag that box out from under the bed to find those cards.
The 600 bucks would be with a lot of KEMs.
But they‘re all bowed, epecially the blue/red he said. So no KEM…
Will receive a list what‘s left on Copags in August.
The brazil Copag’s still one of the top PVC cards i ever used at ~$8/deck.

I have now found these 2 decks and Copags are definitely softer... I had others before, but the Brazilian ones are very good.. Very... Of course, Cristallo is thicker and I like that too.

I found Copags by accident. I once bought a suitcase from a guy for storing chips for €5 and inside, along with the dice chips, were these decks of cool cards.

Wow - i never had the black Texas from brazil.
But i guess they are as awesome as the standart blue/red…?!
IN THE VAULT!
