Was villain arguing his hand was great/you sucked out? Or was he arguing with his bet you should have thought he had you crushed?

There's a guy in my game that will sometimes criticize people like this based on what he feels he was repping vs. what he had.

He was arguing that it was a suckout and that I got my money in super bad on a "horrible call". I think a lot of his blustering about getting it in bad, etc is just sour grapes about losing the hand. I don't think he gives any consideration to odds or any technical aspect of the game (look at the hand he played). Granted he was small blind and the action was limped, but he plays almost literally any hand dealt to him. His VPIP would probably be upwards of 80% or higher on any given session.

He has shown no interest in learning anything about poker. He laughs at me for reading poker books. He makes zero adjustments for Omaha and regularly raises with mediocre hands like QQ73 thinking they are great hands. And he constantly makes bets that are way out of proportion to the pot. He would raise 8x or higher preflop in omaha with something like QQ73 rainbow and think it was a good play. He gets few callers because most people are not looking to get that much in when the hand equities run so close in omaha. So I just wait for something good, call him, and usually win a big pot. He keeps doing it though.

Basically, if he wins, it's good play. If he loses, then his opponent made a horrible play.

He just has odd notions about poker. For instance, I had a dry AA one night in omaha and flopped a set of aces. He keeps betting and I keep calling him down and win a decent sized pot. He had two pair and was astonished that he lost the pot. He had flopped two pair. Then berates me for hitting a "two outer" on the flop. WTF?
