On the road again (4 Viewers)

This is the sort of thing I just can't understand. Seriously, who was making the decision to mix some grand, some Giant inlays on RHC's and then toss in a few THC's and while you are at it why not toss some 7/8" inlays on the tournament chips. Sure, that looks good....

Just passed Omaha on I-80
Jim,
Give us another update please. How far did you make it yesterday. How about now?
Honestly, we all have absolutely nothing better to do with our lives so it doesn't take much to spice up the day....

Went on Instagram to see if I could spot anything other than what's on chipguide.themogh.org, nothing really different, but still thought I'd share. Hooker juice a-plenty tho. Does look like there are 2 solid tourney sets, 1 black label and 1 white. Still weird to me that some chips are THC and some rhc. Maybe it's my ocd.

are we missing a crate too BTW? there are a total of 6 crates and some say 2/5, 3/5 and 5/5 (missing 4/5 & 1/5) but I'm not sure what the back left crates # is and the one says 1/2 (missing 2/2). The promotional crate isn't marked with anything. should there be a 7th crate somewhere?

I'm guessing that was old labeling from their original purpose?

Anybody know what they used to build these crates?
Yea, they call that stuff Baltic Birch. They have different grades and different number of layers so for example they have 5 ply Baltic Birch and 7 Ply and even 9 Ply Baltic Birch and then the outer layers are graded too. Cabinet makers use this stuff to make cabinets in kitchens and elsewhere. The better grades do not have any voids in them or knots on the surface like normal plywood does and the edge can then be painted.

You're kidding, right? No one in their right mind would build a shipping crate out of Baltic birch.
Shipping crate? Just cut in a couple doors, and you have a nice cabinet. If only I could think of what I could put into said cabinet...
